[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put this gate in my half bath since it doesn't have a door. It works great at keeping my kids out of my bathroom. I think this gate is great for a room that doesn't need accessed that often. The gate pulls tightly across, so there is no way a child could go over or under it. However, I would not use it for a dog because a dog could easily tear it up. A puppy could crawl under it because there is a gap between the floor and the gate. It is kind of difficult for me to get used to opening this gate. If I retract the gate too fast, it will get messed up at the bottom of the roll. If my hand stops for just a second while closing the gate, I have to start over because that locks the gate. I don't like that I need both hands to open it. If my hands are full I have to set everything down to open it. My five-year-old hasn't figured out how to open it yet. I think that there are too many steps for him to figure out. My husband installed it. It took him about 15 minutes without any issues. It includes two sets of wall mounts so that the gate can be moved in different spots easily.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this gate for our camper! I wanted to ensure our grandson and dogs would not be able to go up steps to bedroom. I am definitely impressed with the material. It seems to be strong and durable. The retractable is a plus too. It came with all the hardware and instructions to install. My favorite part is easy to clean material.

We needed to secure three areas, the entrance to our kitchen, the opening between our living room and our entryway, and our son's doorway. We also wanted the option of securing other areas in our condo so a removable, retractable gate would be the best solution in terms of saving space and being able to fit all of those locations. We initially looked at a competing product, but the gates were too tall to fit under our kitchen counter. We ordered the Dreambaby gates with a bit of concern about the quality but so far we've been very satisfied with the product. Our 9 mo. old son is always pushing against them and has experimented with trying to lift the bottom of the screen but the gates have held firm. We've seen the videos online where pets crawl under the gate but there is no way our son could pull it up enough to get his head under the gate. Installation was easy but I would recommend that you use the template to mount the gate and then extend the gate and manually mark where you want the latches to go. No doorway is perfectly plumb so if you use the template to mount the laches, chances are your gate won't be perfectly taut. The gates look great, work well, and are decently sturdy. They do make a lot of noise when they retract, which is billed as a safety feature, but you can open them silently if you hold the unlocking mechanism down while opening the gate. Overall we're really happy with these gates!

gate is a little pricey but worth the money.use it for the bottom of the stairs and its nice that it virtually disappears. The manufacturer gives a second set of lockig clamps which allowed me to use the gate to do double duty .By setting the gate on a 90degree to the stairs and a wall im able to use it for either the stairs or the room. So even though it cost twice as much it actually works like two gates would.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First, I give props for a cool new sleek design. The concept is there, the execution is not. Pros: -it has a maximum width of 60" so can fit wider than standard doorways or hallways. -it has all the mounting hardware included to be able to put it up quickly. -when mounted and functional, it's easy to use, even for younger kids. Cons- -the directions are very cryptic, confusing, and don't depict the pieces clearly enough to know which piece goes with the other. -the mounting hardware is plastic and feels like it would break if handled too roughly. -the "gate' part of the security gate is not rigid. It feels like thick plastic and flexes with not much pressure; my cats and dogs were able to slip under with ease. I would NOT trust this gate to keep an adventurous child out of anything, including and especially stairs... which is kind of the point of a gate, right?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This retractable indoor/outdoor security gate is perfect for our first floor stairs that lead to the second floor! My two oldest children have no issues retracting the gate to go upstairs. This gate provides peace of mind, knowing my infant cannot crawl up the stairs. Even though this retractable gate is in place, I still keep an eye on my youngest. This gate is also perfect if you have pets, specifically dogs. Sometimes we don’t want the dogs upstairs, on the beds. Especially if their paws might be muddy and we don’t catch it in time. I really like how this gate attaches to the wall on both sides. When my husband and I tried using a regular baby gate, our bigger dog kept knocking it over. Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to put this gate at my sons doorway so he cannot leave his room and go downstairs in the middle of the night. It requires drilling into the wall or trim. So we had to drill holes into the doorway which I was hesitant about. But I believe it was worth doing. The retractable feature is great, very compact while the gate is not in use. The door cannot be opened with one hand easily. It more so requires two hands. Overall, I am excited about the product and it is perfect for what we needed.

It was super easy to install and it is super easy and convenient to use. I love that it’s retractable so you don’t have to take it up and down everytime. It seems a little flimsy but I think it should last a decent amount of time.

The quality of the product is amazing, i had used another security gate in past for my pet before but that so very difficult to use. Since it is something that i use to atleast 5-10 times a day, i would prefer to spend few extra money to have good quality gate. I used it inside at staircase but it can also be used outside. I loved the grey color, very subtle and elegant. Loved the product and would recommend to anyone who is looking for good quality security gate for pets or infant.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This gate is very easy to use by just un-latching it and letting it retract. There are no locks or latches to hassle with. Just pull it closed and hook the end to close it. Very easy to use and sturdy to keep your child or puppy's safe.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i got this as a baby/dog gate, its held up well so far since my dog keeps pushing it to knock it down and my baby is constantly fighting with it aswell. its good for staircases and doorways so far. it takes little space so that is a plus.

What I love about this gate is the availability to leave it open when she's not up there, which is a great feature having other kids in the home. We'll for sure be getting another one for the bottom of our steps!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] PROS: 1. Amazing price. Other gates go for 3x as much. 2. Wider than most other gates. Other gates typically go only up to 60" wide. 3. Nice look and color feels nice as well 4. Smooth operation. Yes, these can be closed with one hand. Watch the youtube video to confirm that you are doing it right. It's like a seatbelt, if you stop mid-operation it locks on you so you have to start over. 5. As with all gates, must be installed properly in order to work correctly. Our baseboards are very thick so the spacers provided were a bit small but we made them work 6. Child tested and this mother approved. We have a very active toddler. This stood up to her test. CONS : My 2 year old ripped this out of the wall in the first 10 minutes by grabbing the top of the mesh and trying to climb over. The recoil of the retractable gate smacked my child in the face, It’s a bit tricky to figure out how to get it to work At first ! MY OPINION Great product for little ones! Works well for our 72 inch hallway. You have to read directions. For it to go that far you must twist the knob, let go of the button then pull the gate all the way to the closed position. You do NOT have to hold the knob and pull at the same time... Twist the knob, let go and then pull all the way to close. Its kind of like a seat belt if you stop it won't go any further and you will have to re turn the knob and try again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Now that our 7 month old is on the go, it was time to put up a baby gate! We hated the look of the big metal or even wooden gates we had with our older son. We wanted something more discreet that could be “tucked away” yet be permanent. This was the perfect solution I didn’t even know existed. Installation was fairly simple. It comes with a template to trace the holes for foolproof drilling. That was something my husband liked! So far it is very sturdy and has held up to my 7 month old, 5 year old, a year old dog. Once up, it’s pretty easy to figure it out although it did take a few tries. It’s not the most quiet when the gate retracts. For whatever reason, my in-laws cannot figure it out if their life depended on it but it will take practice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having four young children, I have tried a number of different safety gates over time. This one is my favorite. It's a good size and can be easily adjusted. There's no gaps or spaces where small feet can climb or fall. The material is solid, strong, and easy to clean. The gate was easy to assemble and the instructions were clear. I wish I had found this product sooner!

This product and accessory fit my complicated application

I bought 2 retractable gates for my preschool as a way to divide my space (we had to divide classrooms to accommodate the COVID licensing regulations of smaller group sizes). The gates are a great way to fulfill the licensing regulations but are removable for when the regulations revert back. The gates are easy to operate and look great!

This worked great for us, we only needed it to act as a visual stopper for our dogs. I wanted it to be able to roll up because we have a small house and wanted something compact but still useful. This gate is not meant for youngsters that would hold on to it or dogs that would jump on it.

We bought this baby gate about a month ago for my first grandson. He’s learning stairs and this gate helps keep him safe. Sturdy and quality materials. I Definitely recommend this product.
