This weed trimmer is a straight up beast. It has a durable design that can handle the day in day our lawn and landscaping. Its power output is amazing and it has plenty of torque but not too much. It also has a very powerful top end. Overall very smooth and responsive power band that rips through anything I need it to. It’s a good weight and feel for edging as well. This replaced my arm- 225 and it is well worth the extra money. I’ll be getting another here soon.

The trimmer ran great for the first year. Then this spring it was very hard to start. I was able to start it 3 times myself this spring, but with considerable effort. Fourth time, I had to take it to the local service shop to get them to start it, and I was able to start it again at home while it was warm. Fifth time, I got a bad blister on my finger trying to start the thing. I followed the directions. I give up.

I recently replaced an old Stilh FS55. The Echo starts way easier and the power is terrific even with the blade kit. The balance, weight and handles are very comfortable for extended cutting.

Trimmer is light weight with plenty of power. I was going to go with a 3020 for a bigger engine and more power, but after holding both and feeling the weight difference I decided to go with the 2620. I have to say I have not ran into anything yet the 2620 couldn’t handle. This trimmer paired with .105 line has chewed through tough weeds, small saplings and tall clover with no issue.

Had my last Echo trimmer for about 17 years. So I bought this new one to replace it. Completely satisfied. Starts right up, and runs great after a short warm up. The heat shields are better and the throttle control is very precise.

Great works great starts easy and has plenty of power.

More than enough power for any casual weekend warrior battling fence line, curbside and anything else you are going to trim around or edge up. You can also zap the webbing growing on the fence you and your neighbor don’t want to do as well. Get yourself some strong string as well and this weed eater will deliver in spades!

By far the best trimmer for 99% of people out there. Has all the power and reliability anyone could ask for. I could not be happier with this purchase. Thank you, Echo.

This string trimmer has great power and easily cuts through taller and thick grass.

I ordered the X Series Straight Shaft Edger and X Series String Trimmer. I have no idea how they perform or what their quality is because the edger arrived damaged and was missing items in the box, and the string trimmer’s box was really beat up and had been taped up. Returned both.

Always runs really good. Not a fan of the way the head loads.

Tried the cordless trimmer route but with multiple battery changes to complete the job each time I decided it was time to go back to gas power. This machine is more powerful than eveny previous Echo trimmers and hopefully will be just as reliable.

Works pretty good and it’s lightweight, I really like it.
