so many missing parts.
the new door was missing all the hardware except the closure cylinder. All the screws were missing,the long metal strip with the door hinges were missing.the door handle was also missing.Luckily I still had all my old parts that seem to fit. pic 1 shows everything that was in the box. pic 2 shows my old hinge strip in stalled.

Bought 3.....
but not to use as a traditional storm door. Exterior doors for a shed, sauna and greenhouse. Why? Cheap! I got the 30 x 80". So easy to install. Especially after the first one. With my application the rough openings were a bit big, but nothing I couldn't trim out. Speaking of trim, I cut off the wings of the top pieces and was able to put moulding around the doors to give them a finished look. I'm very happy with them.

The hinge (that was already attached to the door by the manufacturer) ripped out of the door after I had already installed it. I straightened the piece out and used longer screws to reattach it and bent the Hydraulic piece back since that ripped out and bent too.

I bought this storm door and had someone install it. Looks like I should have paid more money for one of better quality. I bought this storm door in a size 30x78 and my door is 30x78. The fit was fine, but apparently some of the screws that came with the item didn't secure the door hydraulic cylinder too well.

Great door for the price!
This door looks great. I was wanting a screen door that would allow me to open the bottom window for air cross flow in my living room and this is perfect. The look is clean. While I didn't install it myself, the person that did said it was really easy to install.
And, after the install, I had a question regarding the lock because it didn't work as expected. I used the Q&A format tied to this door and received an answer that was helpful and fixed the problem.
I would highly recommend this door for the look, easy of install, as well as any helpful advice that may be needed afterwards.

This is a good quality storm door for the economy price. We have bad wind here and because it is on a rental door, I find I have to replace it often, as tenants forget to close it, we like that it is plain, but with a screen that can be a closed with the clear panel for winter.

We are sorry but please note that we do not recommend installing wind chain on your storm door. If the wind is strong enough to pull the closers from the storm door panel or door jamb, the wind chain could fail and result in damage to both the door panel and door jamb. Care should be taken when operating your storm door in windy conditions. The best way to prevent wind damage is to make sure the storm door latches after each use. - Charmaine

The Worst Door and Door Brand Ever
Don’t buy an Emco door. It is the cheap version of Andersen and boy is it made cheaply. Expect it to last at most 3 years. Don’t plan on speaking with anyone in the U.S. if you have a problem. It LOOKS good. But the pieces that hold the windows in place are very cheap plastic and, over time, chip thereby allowing the windows to bang forward and backward every time the door opens and closes (see photo). It is so bad now i only have the top window in, the bottom one is sitting in the closet. The pneumatic door closure requires adjustment once or twice a day to prevent the door from closing without banging. And the metal used for the door closure on the frame is so cheap when a small child pulls on the handle amd forgets to turn it first, instead of the door not opening, it opens because the metal bends to allow it (see photo) Then the door wont close again until it is reshaped. The fasteners (screws into the cheap metal) don’t screw into anything except 1. And we paid Home Depot for professional installation so it’s not like it was installed incorrectly.

Good door, but...
First storm door I have purchased and installed ever. Door is of decent quality and once you can figure out the directions, installation is pretty easy. One big knock that I found out the hard way is, there is no wind chain provided. Found this out when I opened the door and a gust of wind took the door and bent the opener and caused the hinges to pull the door apart. Door does not close now and needs to be replaced. Wish I would have realized that a simple piece of hardware that wasn’t included would save me from a total replacement of a less than one month old door. Could have thrown one in with the door or at least recommended the purchase of one. Hoping warranty may cover something.

We do not recommend installing wind chain on our storm doors. Our experience, which is backed up by tests conducted by our Engineering department, is that a wind chain does not significantly increase the ability of the door to resist wind damage. In fact, our tests indicate that, under certain conditions, the presence of a wind chain may actually increase the likelihood of damage to the door and door jamb. Because of this, we strongly discourage the installation of wind chains on our doors and do not offer one. If you wish, you can certainly install a third-party wind chain on your door. However, if you do this, please be aware of the fact that any damage due to the presence of a wind chain would be excluded from coverage under the terms of the door's Warranty. 100 Plus Self-storing storm door
Decent sturdy door for the price. Like the durable aluminum bottom panel on this door instead of the vinyl cheap material on the cheaper 100 series door. Only suggestion for a buyer of this door is following: underneath the door frame where you install the door sweep you will notice the particle wood exposed to any water or moisture that can get under or between door sweep and eventually swell the cheap wood inside. Wished the manufacturer would have put some kind of sealant under there. So I did it myself before I attached door sweep
