My dad purchased the Ecosmart LED 5000K 800 lumens bulbs and I purchased Philips LED 5000K 800 lumens bulbs. My dad bought the Ecosmart bulbs because they are cheaper. I bought the Philips bulbs because I didn't recognize the Ecosmart brand. Testing for bulb longevity wasn't feasible, but at least I can compare to see if there is any difference in the color temperature between the two. My preference was to have the one closest resembling to daylight lighting. The Philips bulb won out by quite a margin, as the Ecosmart bulbs had a noticeably warmer color temperature. In conclusion, if you are worried about cost, go with the Ecosmart bulbs. If you want something closer to daylight, pick a different brand you are comfortable with (in my case, the Philips bulbs).

Ask me in two years if this is a good, serviceable bulb. It is the size and color/temperature that i needed for the applications to which it is applied. I have had 40-50% of LED bulbs fail way early. After a couple failures i created by mixing LED and incandescent bulbs ona dimmer, i am careful to only use all LED bulbs on LED qualified dimmers. However, though manufactures rate bulbs at 12-15+ years life, they also qualify duty cycle to terms like three hours per day, which is about 1.7 years for a 24x7 application. Also not many LEDs are qualified to fully contained fixtures. So being careful in choice, I trust that experience the expected benefits of LEDs with this bulb.

Bought a new wall fixture for our remodeled main bathroom which by the way, was purchased at home depot at the same time I purchased the Equivalent A19 bulbs. I love these bulbs, they brighten up the whole bathroom and really show off the new Hampton light fixture.

I have replaced all the CFL bulbs in my home with LED bulbs. LED bulbs are less expensive to use per kw, than CFLs and incandescents plus the price per bulb has dropped dramatically over the past 5 years. Add to that a lifespan of 10 plus years and it only makes sense to convert to LED bulbs for all your lighting needs...!

These bulbs are EXACTLY what my wife likes, 5,000K and 100W equivalent. They are bright, reliable and super cheap to operate. We have purchased these for 3 homes in the last few years and have only had 1 bad bulb, over 100 have been perfect. I will take that track record.

OMG – I LOVE these light bulbs!! My ceiling fan had 5 25-watt bulbs in it. The base of the bulb housing said 40-watts max. What a delight when I found out I could put in 100-watt bulbs that use only 15-watts. Those old 25-watt bulbs were soft white in color. These 100-watt bulbs are daylight in color. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! I can now read books and not have to worry about eye strain. If there is an ant on the wall, I will see it. I was so happy with them, that I replaced the light bulbs in my basement ceiling as well. Because my ceiling is low, and the height of the bulb protrudes from the ceiling making direct contract with a person’s head, I no longer have to worry about my head breaking another bulb, since these are shatter resistant! I replaced the bulbs in my garage and my sunroom as well. Let the savings begin...

I had a bulb in my living room lamp go out on me. I thought this would be a good time to switch from incandescent to LED so I got this 8-pack. As the old bulbs die, I can replace them with this since I will have them on hand. The LED looks better, I think, than the old incandescent it replaced. More even light distribution plus less electricity and longer life. All of which sound good to me.

LED "Daylight" lights are pretty white lights that make reading and putting on makeup easier to see. The strength of 40 watts in these LED's are much brighter than the old fashioned 40 watt incandescent lightbulbs. They are much brighter and cleaner. I absolutely love them. It's become a necessity for me as I've aged to have these brighter lights for reading.

For starters, these are the tightest packed 8 pk. ever...8 bulbs in a 6 bulb carton. Eco smart? Bulb wise, they seem just as good a quality as any more expensive bulb. These daylight style bulbs give a cooler, “realer” light, in the 5000K range. At 40 watts, these are still a fairly dim bulb, only good for some specific uses. A good, everyday value at $10 an 8 pk.

LED light bulbs are great because they last longer, use a lot less energy, don’t contain mercury and now they are really affordable. I think LED light bulbs are the best invention for the home in about 40 years. Not long ago these were really expensive but now this 8-pack costs a lot less than one LED light bulb used to cost. Ecosmart light bulbs are particularly inexpensive. I have now converted my whole house to just LED. With a few of these packs anyone could convert their house to LED. These bulbs look good, are very compact and have an estimated energy cost of $0.66 per year. Because they are only 475 lumens they are better suited for a bedroom than somewhere that you need brighter light. Personally, I prefer the daylight bulbs over the soft white because they give a light like outside in the sunlight, but I know some people prefer the soft white.

Not a bad deal for a 4-pack of LED 40 watt bulbs from Ecosmart. The 5.5 watts / 2700K of power consumption provides a soft white that is 450 lumens of light. These are non-dimmable, but do glow in a fashion for a candle light dinner together. The manufacture shows you can use them outdoors in a damp, but not exposed to water directly. The LED bulbs can be used in enclosed fixtures too.

Nice replacement for traditional incandescent bulbs. Living in Florida I've been switching to LEDs to reduce the overall heat given off by bulbs. It makes a difference. These are suitable for a low light requirement, given they are a replacement for 40 watt bulbs and are 475 lumens. I like the "daylight" or white light they give off. A nice clean crisp light.

Those 60W equivalent LED bulbs are a very economic solution for upgrading from incandescent or CFL to LED. They are compact and can be used in enclosed fixtures. The produce 840 lumens of "daylight" white light which is color temperature is suitable for many applications and I use those bulbs in our closets to replace CFL bulbs that came with the house. Consumption is only 9W so they obviously save energy versus 60W incandescents, and they save close to 40-50% versus CFLs. They are non-dimmable. The bulbs are well packaged in a cardboard package which is easy to open, re-use or recycle.

I really like this 4-pack EcoSmart 100W equivalent LED bulbs. The quality and performance are good, and the price is very reasonable. I have other 100W equivalent LED bulbs that are either bulky or expensive, but this EcoSmart option is similar in size to a typical incandescent or halogen bulb and is affordable. The bulbs are non-dimmable so make sure you use them for the right application. They put out 1500 lumens with consumption of only 13W which is great and matches the 75W halogens they replaced. The temperatures is 2700K so despite being called "soft white" those are in my opinion "warm white" bulbs as they produce slightly yellow light. The bulbs are well packaged in a cardboard package which is easy to open, re-use or recycle. I installed four of those in our two-car garage (using Y adapters) and they put out a ton of light. In my other garage which I also use as a workshop and for storage I use 5000K temperature for more suitable white light for such task.

This is a nice LED bulb for replacing less energy efficient CFL or incandescent bulbs. A nice clean light with no glare or harsh flare with the plastic bulb cover. I love that I can get 60 watts of lights and yet only draw a tiny amount of power. Nearly heat free compared to CFL and Incandescent, this is also safe for kid's lamps and small spaces like closets or cabinets. You won't get burned if you bump it. Speaking of bumping, it's all plastic, so now glass shattering if you drop it or hit it by accident, great for automotive work wand lights. Of course this uses a standard lamp base ad it's the same size as a standard bulb so it will fit anywhere a regular bulb did. I recommend it.

I have been using this Ecosmart brand for well over a year now and have always been happy with the led lightbulbs that they manufacture. This pack of 100w replacement bulbs work well, they are not designed to be dimmed, so if you need a dimmable lightbulb, you will need to look elsewhere. These bulbs are very warm bulbs, means they cast a light that is on the yellow spectrum instead of the bluish spectrum. These bulbs are more flattering visually when viewing people, and ideally, they are great to use in living rooms, dining rooms, and anywhere where warm light is wanted. These lightbulbs put out light that is about equal to an incandescent 100-watt bulb, however they only use 13 watts of power to do so, thereby saving you 87 watts of power per bulb which is a huge deal. Each bulb has a brightness of 1500 lumens, and a lifetime of 11,000 hours.

We have been removing the older incandescent and compact fluorescent light bulbs with LED light bulbs. It is a simple switch that saves you money. The older incandescent light bulbs use a lot of energy and burn hot. The compact fluorescent light bulbs takes a few minutes to come up to full brightness and also burn warm. LED light bulbs come on at full brightness, burn much cooler, and use a fraction of the energy. The Daylight is the brightness of LED's. If you don't want a bright light, use the Soft White bulb.

These light bulbs turn on instantly no time lag. They are non-dimmable. I tried them out in a dimmer switch and they in fact do dim slightly, but not to the extent that is of any use. These are Daylight color which is towards the blue range of the color spectrum. The color of the light has a DRAMATIC impact on the way colors look (See attachment). The light on the left is the Daylight color (6500 kelvin), while the light on the right is the soft white (yellowish) color (2700 kelvin). They are at the opposite sides of the spectrum. Note how the hue of the blue and green are affected dramatically, while the hue of the red is more similar. If you are replacing old incandescent bulbs the soft white yellow range is the one you want, for the same color look. If you ramp up all the way to the Daylight (blue) you will likely find it to be too big of a change. The colors may be too vibrant? The various guides all describe color in terms of degrees Kelvin. Soft white (Yellow range) = 2500 Kelvin. Warm White (White/Yellow range) = 3000 Kelvin. Bright White = 4100 Kelvin. Daylight (Blue range) = 6500 Kelvin. The Home depot fluorescent bulb buying guide also describes this well. homedepot.com/c/fluorescent_bulbs_HT_BG_EL

I've been making an effort to slowly replace every light bulb in my home with a LED bulb, so I've tried several brands. I have to say EcoSmart makes a very reliable product here. This isn't my first EcoSmart light bulb, so I'm pleased to say that all my bulbs from them thus far have had no issues. This particular bulb is very bright being a daylight bulb, so be sure that daylight is what you are after when purchasing. I use daylight bulbs in my bathroom because I have black tiles and counter top, so the daylight really helps brighten up the room. If you want a more warmer light then obviously don't go with daylight. This bulb is energy efficient and shatter resistant which is always a plus.

I guess it may be an age thing for me but 60 watt equivalent light bulbs are just not bright enough for my needs. I have been looking for some reasonably priced 100 watt replacement led bulbs. I picked up some of the Ecosmart 100 w replacement bulbs that only use 13 watts. These look like a regular light bulb and are in the "daylight" range- with is a white or cool light- about 5000K. As led's these produce less heat and have a longer life span than the old incandescent bulbs- using less than 15% of the electricity for the same light. These all worked when installed and provided the expected brightness. Only time will tell how long they last in every day usage- but usually much longer than an incandescent. I have no problem with the quality of these bulbs but only time will tell how long they last- the ultimate answer to quality. These bulbs are not dimmable but most applications do not have a dimmable switch

I got the 60-watt LED daylight bulb for use in a lamp beside my bed. I like the daylight (5000k) more than the soft light color (3,000k). This bulb uses 9 watts and produces 840 lumens of brightness which is perfectly sufficient to light a portion of a large room such as in a lamp or an entire room when used in a ceiling mounted light. The yearly estimated operating cost is $1.08 and claims to last 10yrs or 11,000 hours. The package indicates a minimum starting temperature of -4 degrees. The bulb is plastic which is nice if you happen to drop it, it will not shatter.

My 60-Watt Equivalent A19 Basic Non-Dimmable LED Light Bulb, Daylight is just what you would expect from a standard filament 60 watt bright light bulb. It is round like the old standard bulbs so older lamp shades will work with it. You will get years of light and reduce your electric bill dramatically if you use these to replace all of your old bulbs. I have reduced my electric bill 30 dollars a month when I switched every bulb in my house along with other electric reduction techniques.

I have a lot of lighting with marbled white glass globes and the warm white bulbs make them all look yellow and don't put out nearly as much light as the daylight bulbs. As I use my stash of older bulbs I am replacing them with daylight which gives a pure, brighter light. They make a world of difference. These light bulbs fit the bill and I will order again. Being LED is a plus for my electric usage.
