Very disappointment. Had to return 5 pairs. I expected better from Ekena Millwork products. These are flimsy, hollow, molded shutters. The end-cap pieces didn't fit properly. If you live in a plastic Barbie dream house then theses shutters will might work for you. Lousy craftsmanship. The description should indicate the shutters are hollow. They don't even have a back. The midnight green color, however, was perfect.

These are poorly made and very thin and the product that is used to hold them together did not do its job. I had to put super glue to strength them. Not worth the price and won’t ever buy again

I ordered 2 pairs in August 2023. They were perfect (they took a while for delivery). I ordered 2 more pairs in April 2024, and they were delivered broken. The first order was all one piece in Aug. The 2nd order was glued pieces that had come apart. Not even the same quality! I ordered again and had them sent directly to Home Depot. When they arrived at the store, I had the customer service person open them and, again, shutters were unglued pieces again. I think they sent the same ones back.

The shutters were made from a taller 39" size then sawed and crudely glued back together to get the 37" that I ordered. I expected one piece shutters and got an inferior product.

I ordered a 64” length shutter. Ekena took a 67” length shutter and cut it to 64”. The cut was above one of the cross boards towards the middle of the shutter and glued together with what appeared to be hot glue. I was afraid that when the shutters were hung, the two pieces would separate. They were returned.

I ordered this pre-covid. Took months to arrive with no communication from seller. I understand that these are unusual times, but still. When it did arrive, it looked more suitable for a Fisher-Price house than an actual home. I thought I was getting vinyl that looked like wood. Instead it looks like cheap plastic. Returning as soon as I get a moment. Such a disappointment.

The shutters were as expected. We ordered three colors of the same type of shutter to hold up to our house for the best color fit. Our family chose the Wedgewood blue and it looks great accenting our light gray lape acrylic siding!

Quality was average at best. The high price was billed as thinker material. I have worked with many different shutters and ALL seem to be identical in quality. Just but the style you like and go with the lowest price!

These shutters are made of very thin, flimsy plastic. When you hold them, they feel like they could fall apart. Much flimsier than louvred shutters and 2 or 3 times the cost. Very flexible in a bad way. Would not recommend unless you were required to match, as I was in my gated community.

The shutters worked out well for my application.

They were flimsy and cheap looking. I returned them. My son-in-law made me a pair out of cedar for a fraction of the cost and they look fantastic.

Unfortunately these arrived dented due to how they were packaged. They were wrapped so tightly the binding permanently dented the sides of each shutter. They look ok from a far distance, but up close they are very flimsy and feel cheaply made (light weight). We had to use them since we were repainting our house and had to have these shutters ready to install for the painter. We aren't sure how long they will last as a decorative item. We hope they don't crack and fall off our house. It didn't meet our expectations and won't purchase this brand again and wouldn't recommend them either

Love these shutters! Great product and easy to install.

The rivets kept bending during installation even after the holes were drilled to the correct size. The top Crosspiece was separating from the board.They do look like real wood. So we are very happy with their appearance.

The shutters were as pictured and appear sturdy and well made. Great addition to my home!

Ended up returning them. Although I loved the look, the quality was subpar for the price. Seemed to be pretty flimsy.

I purchased 6 pairs the Board and Batten shutters. They arrived prior to expected delivery date. Great product, easy to install, accurate size. All the hardware was included and the product was not damaged. The instructions are printed on the exterior of the shipping cartons. There are no paper instructions inside the cartons. I missed this, but plenty of similar installs on youtube to provide insights on the install. The plastic shutter fasteners are easy to nail into any material. Just be patient and tap them in as opposed to trying to driving them in with a single hit. Only negative I can see is the high cost (otherwise 5 stars). They are replacing some worn out wooden shutters, so these hopefully will be maintenance free for some time to come. Good curb appeal.

Looked just like picture very light but nice look

There were no metal screws. Just plastic screws. When I ordered similar shutters a few months ago, there were metal screws. When I called, I was told it was a different company. I’m ordering from Home Depot, and yet the quality goes down.

The shutters were very easy to paint and install. Very easy project and makes the house look amazing!

The instructions were missing and the product was delivered damaged. They did paint easily and install once I repaired the dent from delivery.
