Large single basin with offset drain was perfect for my application. The wire shelf sealed the deal for me. The entire exterior is coated with a thin rubber-like paint to dampen noise. Used this to make a PARTS WASHER in the shop!

Very spacious. Looks like a restaurant industrial style sink.

I was really looking forward to replacing my old sink with this big single bowl, but it already has rust spots and discoloration near the drain. It was installed less than two weeks ago. My old sink was about 30 years old and had no rust!

Purchased this sink for installation in a new countertop. I was enjoying the look of this sink until today, day five, and I noticed rust spots. My old sink was stainless and existed in my house when purchased thirteen years ago and had not one single rust spot. I just read Elkay’s care guide for this sink and it is recommended that you wipe the sink after every use. This leads me to believe they know their products are flawed and the legal department figured this would cover them. Thankfully Home Depot has a broad return policy and I will be bringing this back.

My wife and I love this sink. I had no problem installing it. The thing is huge and we have no problem fitting anything in it. It looks great and it way less expensive than most 33" wide square single bowl sinks. I didn't like the offset drain at first but now I love it. We put things on the grate all the time and can still easily use the faucet with thing getting in your way.

I love this sink, was easy to install and looks gorgeous in my kitchen. Love the modern look and very deep sink! Worth the money!

We love everything about this sink. Nice and deep, quiet, and clean lines.

This is a pretty standard sink, by size and weight. The instructions are clear and the hardware included is easy enough to install. What sets this apart is the open design of the sink basin. In addition the wire standoff protects the sink base and can also be used as a drying area. The drain is off set to the right but is easy enough to reconfigure pipes to accommodate. Three holes are already punched out for ease of installing faucet. No faucet or drain hardware is included. It can be installed as a drop in or an undermount and instructions are pretty clear for a DIYer. For a licensed plumber it's a no brainer!

Excellent stainless finish. Everything you need for the mount and install is in the box (fasteners and mounting hardware). Don't need to be a professional plumber or cabinet installer to get it mounted, as long as you have access to circular saw or jig saw all you have to do is place the well marked template where you want to drop your sink and cut away the hole or enlarge the hole that's already there. It is not very thick gauge stainless but the manufacturer sprayed sound deadening material on the underside that gives it a solid feel and a little more weight so as not to feel flimsy when you place your pots and pans in it. It also includes a grating for the bottom which is of good quality and a welcomed addition. Good quality, but not top shelf; I recommend a store purchase or deliver to store so that the shipping companies don't damage it in transit.

Due to its outstanding quality and design, this Elkay stainless steel kitchen sink is a product I highly recommend. Actually, I love this sink so much that I am purchasing a larger Elkay brand stainless steel double sink very soon. The stainless steel is of high quality and the satin finish is very nice. The backside is coated (coating is used as a sound-reducer) and its modern design looks great in my brand new kitchen at the office. Its rectangular shape and drop-in rack is so good-looking. I am including a few photos of the before and after installation. Installation should’ve been a breeze but, to no fault of Elkay, the installation of the clips underneath was quite a task. The countertop guy didn't cut the hole correctly (for the sink opening) even after using Elkay’s template. But, we managed attaching the clips underneath although it was not an easy task thanks to the countertop dude being sloppy. Lastly, the quality is such that I expect this sink to last a lifetime.

We bought this sink to replace a smaller, 25 year old, 2 bowl sink in our kitchen. We struggled with whether to keep the two bowl style or change it to one large. I'm so glad we decided to go with one bowl. Everything fits without banging on the sides and bottom. We elected NOT to use the grate on the bottom. It's fantastic. My only complaints are that there isn't enough slope to the bottom of the sink, so sometimes getting smaller pieces of food down into the disposal is annoying. In addition, the water marks stay around longer than I'd like and are hard to get rid of. While it didn't scratch at all afterward, it did get one on the bottom the second day we had it. Overall, though, I have to say we are happy with this sink. If not for the slope/draining issue, I would have given it 5 stars.

We had a fiberglass sink in the laundry room, this unit was the perfect upgrade to add a bit of flare to the room. The installation instructions were easy to follow and everything needed to install the sink was included. Just remember to get the drain and strainer set of your choice, there are lots of options. The sides of the sink have sound deadener to avoid the hollow or tinny sound of metal sinks, this is a big plus. Added the faucet of our choice and the project was complete. We have put some rough stuff into the basin in a short time and no staining or spotting. Cant imagine anyone being disappointed in the purchase.

Really good looking sink. The stainless is flawless and it looks like the finish will last a good, long time. The bottom has a sprayed on black matte finish, no sound dampening. The large single basin is fantastic. We've had a dual basin for years and this is so much better. No more trying to make larger item squeeze into the basin. Plenty of room for any sized pots or pans. The stainless is a heavy gauge and easy to work with. They included a template and detailed instructions to make for a simple and pretty quick installation. The dimensions on the description are exactly right. No fudge factor, just right. I think we're more excited about the new grid than the sink itself. It rises about 3/4" above the sink bottom and has a cutout to easily access the strainer basket. The grid has thick rubber feet which are fantastic. It not only rises above the bottom to provide great drainage, the rubber feet cushion the impacts and helps to reduce sink noise by absorbing the sound through the rubber feet. With the grid in place, it's really sharp looking. What's keeping me from a 5 star rating is the drain. When I installed the new strainer basket, there was a lot of play with it. I had to hold it in the center of the hole and tighten as I kept it aligned. I tried out old basket and it fit the same. I was able to make it work but it's a 1 time pain in the neck for installation. Overall, it's a great looking and great working sink with 1 small issue. I would recommend this to a friend and to you

This Avenue sink made by Elkay is made of high quality heavy gauge stainless steel that is nicely grained. It has sound pads and a grey coated finish on the underside. It is designed to be mounted under a countertop or used as a drop in. When mounted in the drop in configuration the flange has three faucet mounting holes and sits up from the counter approximately 3/16” of an inch. The sink measures 25” across, 22” from front to back and 9” deep. Detailed instructions and a cut out template are included. This sink includes a stainless drying rack that fits nicely on the bottom of the sink. Mounting clips and hardware are also included.

I bought the sink on a two day notice after evaluating what both of the local home-improvement stores had to offer. It best suited our needs and I’m very pleased to say that it actually looks and functions very well. I really like the equal sides and how deep the sink is. It was easy to install and the instruction were easy to understand. 100% recommend. We’ve had it a couple weeks now and I have no dislikes or complains so far.

The ELKAY Avenue 33 in. Single Bowl Kitchen Sink is exactly what my wife was looking for. First, let me say how well made this is. Very nice finish and looks like it should cost substantially more. It can be mounted under or on top of the countertop and includes cutout patterns for both. We were looking for a deep sink and this foots the bill at 9 inches. several inches deeper than our current sink (see photo) We are in the process of creating an open concept for our kitchen and my wife wanted a sink deep enough that any dishes/cookware would not be peeking over the backsplash. The bottom grid is great for prep washing and the offset drain gives you plenty of room to do just that. It has a heavy duty construction which, and a feature I particularly like, especially with a sink this large. Like most sinks it has a few rubber pads glued to the outside to keep it from sounding like a cheap drum. This goes one better and has a rubberized coating over all the underside. It's pretty quiet just moving it around. From experience, It should be quieter that the average sink when installed. Looking forward to our new kitchen!

I love this sink because of the quality. Made of thick guage stainless. Nice deep bowls. You can mount it under or over counter top. Comes with a template for cutout. I didnt need it just replaced my single with this double and mounted it under counter top. Reused the mounting hardware from the previous sink. Has a channel for mounting hardware. Good quality. Good size for a great price.the drains are 4" but 3.5 will work. Added some photos of it mounted. Took a few hrs but i think it came out nice. The removable grids for the bottom was a nice touch too.

It is very well insulated at the bottom outside to cutdown on noises. Comes with two grates with rubber feet that keeps the grate from moving around. Made from 18 gauge stainless steel Type 304.

I love the deep basins and the removable racks at the bottom of the basins. They help stop the water from not moving around under the pots/pans/plates etc. My old sink was the builders original. Dull from years of wear and tear. it was in such bad shape the last time we used a plunger on it, it got hairline cracks. Enter the new Avenue Drop-in/Undermount Stainless Steel Sink! It is a dream!! Deeper than my old one and it actually makes me happy going into the kitchen to use the sink.

A thing of beauty. When I first opened the box I was blown away at how flawless and picture perfect this kitchen sink is. I just couldn’t wait to get it install. Once it was installed, I wasn’t disappointed. I’ve bought stainless steel sinks that had scratches on it right out of the box. But not this one. This 18 gage stainless sink was crafted with pride. The tight corners allow you to have lots of room to wash out your big pans. And it can be either mounted as a drop in or undermount. We chose to undermount it. Im a diy type of guy but we hired a professional to make sure it was done right. And as you can see from my pictures it looks great.

I've had this sink for a couple of years and it's always troubled me just how crudely this sink is finished. It's like they could have gone up a few grits when finishing, (but labor costs them money), instead all of the horizontal surfaces are very rough and as such catch a lot of food. The bottom of the bowls, especially is very crude and rough, thus a lot of food sticks to it and also lot of finer stuff, too so it loses its luster quickly after cleaning. 3 days after cleaning pieces of food are sticking again that can't be rinsed away. Rinsing isn't enough, if you want a spotless sink, you must remove the grate and scrub it. Hardly the maintenance free promise that SS implies. Also, the bottom is totally flat making drainage an issue, especially is you use a strainer. My parents had SS sinks installed in the 60's that are still perfect that were a lot smoother than this. I can't see this sink coming close to that for service life. Thankfully, I haven't experienced the rust issues others have had.

Received the product damage this was the second time I order it. first time was damaged as well.

THIS IS AN EXCELLENT PRODUCT AND PERFECT FOR MY NEEDS BUT UNFORTUNATELY HAD A DAMAGED RIM MAKING IT UNSUITABLE FOR 'DROP IN' --WHICH I NEEDED. HAD TO RETURN SINK WHICH WOULD PROBABLY WORK FOR 'UNDER-MOUNT'.
