Hi Kameron, we're sorry to hear that you're having a fit issues that caused you to not have a great experience with our Elkay CTXBG2915 Crosstown Stainless Steel Bottom Grid. Thank you for letting us know about your experience. It is our priority to ensure customer satisfaction. We do design our bottom grids to have a gap around the perimeter to allow you be able to get your fingers in between the sink and the grid to be able to remove the grid from the sink. This gap also helps to prevent accidental scratching of the sink when removing the grid.
