This sink is absolutely beautiful and was easy to install. I had never installed a sink before this and the instructions were easy to follow. Punching out the holes for the faucet was a little scary but you just need to trust the instructions and it works perfectly. I have already received several compliments and have had the sink installed for a couple weeks.

The quality of this sink is excellent. It is scratch proof which is very good. The black color stands out and the color makes it a much cleaner looking sink. It is very modern looking and should last a long time. The installation was easy ,typical installation as with most any sink. It drains very good and no residual water left in the center so the slope of the sink is well balanced. Good quality and great looking.

First, let me say this was shipped to my house on a pallet, boxed with Styrofoam blocks and was shrink-wrapped to the pallet. Though all of this secure shipping was used, it was incredibly light weight. Upon opening the box, you will find the sink (securely packaged), a bag of mounting hardware, instructions for installation and a template to have your counter contractor (if necessary) make their cuts. The sink is VERY light weight and this surprised me as it is made of a quartz composite but since this is an undermount sink, this is a good thing. Next, you'll notice the color is very rich and deep. There are no blemishes in the composite and there are no inconsistent areas as I have seen with some stone composite sinks. Also, the size of this sink is incredible. While I have not had this mounted yet, I am already happy with the color, quality and product, overall.

The ELKAY by schock dual mount quartz composite 33 in. double bowl kitchen sink in grey is a very nice sink. The sink has a very nice look and feel to it. Beats my old stainless steel sink hands down. It has 4 knockouts for faucet Just choose the ones you want to use and knock out. I like the offset drain holes. The bowls are 9 1/2 in. deep and one is slightly smaller on one side. Comes with all mounting hardware. Great sink.

I'm very impressed by the quality and appearance of my new Elkay by Shock dual mount quartz composite 33x22 deep double bowl gray kitchen sink. Several thinks make it outstanding, it is solid, durable, stain and scratch resistant. I'm replacing an existing cast iron sink and this sink will fit the same opening. I really like that the faucet holes can be easily punched out, so I can use it as a 1,2,3 or 4 hole sink. The doweled clips for installing the sink to the countertop are easy to install and secure the sink nicely. It comes with a limited lifetime warranty and the installation manual has a good description of care and cleaning and ways to prevent damage from abrasive and harsh cleaners. I'd definitely recommend this sink for the professional installer or homeowner doing his own install.

Don't buy a quartz sink for your kitchen. It stains easily and you can't put a hot pan in it. I have an Elkay Quartz sink that is 6 months old and it is irreparably stained and chipped from basic kitchen use.

Great sink! Highly recommended! We went from a stainless steel over the counter split sink to this! This really modernized our kitchen!

This sink is very deep - 10" drop with lower 4" profile partition; I can place larger and taller stock pots in the sink without them protruding out of the sink. However because the sink drops so low, I did have to reconfigure the drain pipes; luckily, I only had to shorten a few of the pipes. Initially I wasn't sure about 60/40 split of the sink but now I like it; I place the larger items (pots, pans, etc.) on the 60-split side and the smaller items (glasses, silverware, etc.) on the 40-split side. In addition, the lower profile partition also allows more room in the sink. Installation was straightforward as indicated by the directions; for my installation, I used the orange clips to attach the sink to the laminate countertop as a top-mount sink. The only difficult part was trying to make the faucet holes large enough with a hammer and chisel; it can definitely be done but it takes more time than if a hole saw was used to accomplish this task. Since this since sink doesn't come with drain sets, I was able to use the previous garbage disposal drain kit and purchased a 4.5" generic drain kit for the other side. I must say I absolutely love this sink; the black color matches the black and black stainless steel appliances in the kitchen and gives the laminate countertop a much needed boost, and there's so much room in the sink. Lastly, I have more space under sink since the drains are located further back on the sink rather than being located in the middle of the sink.

2 cracks in sink after 5 years. Since our counter tops were specifically cut for this sink, we have to install another one. No wonder Home Depot discontinued it. We now have to buy it from Elkay and risk it happening again.

I purchased the greige 60/40 sink and LOVE it. The color matched my color scheme perfectly, and I love the structure of the sink, as opposed to a single sink opening. I would definitely recommend the 60/40 with the shallow divider. You can thaw items on one side of your sink and still have the other side function, even to wash long-handled pots or pans.

The depth of this sink makes plumbing it nearly impossible. Shame on them for making this. It's a complete farce.

Nothing sticks to this which is nice when you husband washes his paint brush and wall mud out in the sink!! Tons of compliments - huge! LOVE IT. I have had this for 4 years now and still very pleased

We loved this sink. The depth is great, the two sides are great. We had zero complaints for a year and a few months. Then I noticed I had water under the sink and traced it back to a crack running through the sink. While we wash dishes in the sink daily, most of the hard work is saved for the dishwasher. Reading other reviews on the sink is really disheartening. When I purchased the sink I looked for that type of feedback, but didn’t see it. Now we have to waste money installing a new sink. Stay away from this product. I’ve reached out to Elkay, so we’ll see how the customer service is.

Sink was broke in half and then couldn’t get another one soon.

I love my new sink. We replaced the countertops which is gray and white and the gray sink goes perfectly. I like the 60/40 split sink as I keep a drainer on the smaller side for clean items and still have a good size sink.

I love this sink! Beautiful color & looks great with quartz countertops! I didn’t realize how deep it is, though. We really have to lean over now to hand wash dishes.

Good-looking, heavy duty, and large. Rather surprisingly heavy in weight as well. But the granite counter installers were able to get it under-mounted and it looks great. No complaints.

Had this sink for two years and then discovered a big crack going all the way through, from the drain up the right side corner almost to the top of the sink. Under the counter water damage and a pretty big expense and hassle to fix. But I loved how deep and beautiful it was. Sad it didn't last. Not sure whether I want to risk it again or not.

Like other customers, I realized there was a large crack toward the bottom of the far wall in the left sink when I discovered wet cleaning products and damage to the cabinet underneath. My contractor, who liked it so well that he bought one for himself, discovered a crack in his at exactly the same spot shortly after, both within a year of installation. It is obvious to us that this was a manufacturing defect and should have been replaced at the manufacturer's expense, but my contractor is busy and couldn't find the purchase records so we've been living with an unattractive but at least functional repair. Now I need to sell the house and can't do that with a damaged sink, so apparently I'm stuck because Elkay is taking responsibility only for a repair kit, and advice on why it was probably our fault. I will NEVER purchase from Elkay again and don't recommend it to anyone else either.
