With the broom parallel to the pole, it is 34.5” at its shortest and extends to 46”. Compared to the 54” Avalanche that I also have, which is cheaper, it’s not as good, imo, for several reasons. It doesn’t extend as long, does not have the wide squeegee on the back side of the broom, the button to pivot the broom is harder to push with gloves on, and the brush does not stand away from the pole enough so that when used with the brush parallel to the pole, the pole and scraper end have to be held too close to the car to get the brush to make contact the way it should.
The pole telescopes by turning the pole, which allows to set the length anywhere you want. That’s nice compared to the Avalanche which has 4 set length notches, but is easier to adjust with a large button.
The brush is thick.
The bristles are softer that the Avalanche bristles so I might not fear brushing the paint with these, but they won’t last as long.
Ultimately I prefer the Avalanche 54” over this.
Pros: Multi Use
