Quality control seem to fail on this item, the very last piece to put on and its missing!! The front mesh door wasn't in the box. very frustrating!!

well made, easy to assemble.

We used it our first time before the July. I would rate it higher except for one thing.. the door latch that is supposed to lock does not align properly, and thus can't be locked.

'Was a bit worried after reading reviews, but fireplace arrived undamaged, was easy to assemble and works great. Actually seems more durable than expected - good value for the price. We are loving it!

If I had seen this in person before I ordered it I never would have purchased it. It is a flimsy piece of junk: nothing fits together right without having to bend it. Door still doesn't fit right. Honestly it doesn't seem like it would be safe. Very disappointing.

I live the style but it rusted immediately after the first time I used it. I painted it with heat resistant paint. Then I made a cover for it and used it one more time. It immediately rusted again! It’s ashame because I really think it’s cute. Too bad they didn’t make it out of durable materials.

It was easy to assemble, although two people make it easier still. It as a removeable ash tray that makes cleaning it out easier. The cage is large enough to have a good cozy fire. Because of the design, you can have people sit all the way around it and enjoy the fire. The cage seemed to stop most sparks from exiting the fireplace. We have only had it for a couple weeks. I think a weatherproof cover would be useful to protect it from the elements when not in use (we used a BBQ cover to protect ours).

Burned in it one night .... Latch fell of the door and paint was peeling off the next morning.

The fire pit was easy to assemble. It looks nice on my patio! I love it!

I would give this 5 stars - BUT the spark arrestor (screen on top) doesn't fit that well! Look at my enclosed photo: it fits well enough to stay on ... BUT look at that gap on the left hand side, as compared to the right side. Come on guys. Don't you have a measuring tape in that factory over there? On the plus side, very solid product. We found the best results burning those "fake logs" you can buy at several stores out there. Two at a time. Burns clean and doesn't produce a ton of smoke. But if you ever re-measure that top-dome screen and do it right, I'd give this 5 stars hands down.

I spent a LOT of time researching fire pits. I was willing to spend a couple hundred dollars on a decent, well made, thick steel pit that looked like this. Unfortunately they don’t exist. Most are cheaply made, small and over priced. I finally surrendered and bought this. There’s only a few manufacturers out there and they put different names on similar products. Home Depot had the best price and I bought it there. The problem is the company, Blue Rhino. Trying to get anything from them, including replacement screws is impossible. I tried to get very specific dimensions, and got general dimensions. When I was missing some screws I called the company and they promised to send them, that was two weeks ago. The directions are useless. I put it together myself, but an extra hand would come in handy. The pit itself is decent. A bit thicker on the bottom than most. The screen is not great, I’ll replace it with one that opens. I put two coats of rustoeum high heat paint that should help keep rust at bay for a while. I like the screen on the side, very much like my last one. Overall happy with the grill, not the company.

Very easy to put together. Looks great. Used one time. Not all smoke is carried up out of the chimney, which is why it didn’t get 5 stars. Overall not bad.

It wasn't as sturdy as I thought it was going to be

A few deep scratches on the finish of the hood part of the chimney. Not problematic enough to return but would have been nice to be umblemshed. Assembly was A#1 easy. Looks cool on the patio cant wait for Spring!

It is attractive, large enough, and is easy to use. I love the handle around edge because it doesn't get hot and the grate that the wood sits. It is also nice to have the lid so that you can control heat, smoke. Used it for a public event

Easy to assemble, lightweight, and put out a nice amount of heat. Bought this because of the price, size, and the grill--haven't used that yet, but it looks like it would hold about 6 hamburgers, at least. Looking forward to using this many times this fall!

I bought this fire pit and within a couple weeks it was quite rusty despite trying to keep it out of the rain. I returned it and got another one which started rusting within 2 days! Even underneath it is rusting.

used them at an ice fishing tournament worked great and everybody wanted to know where I got them and how much they were

This fire pit looked great when first assembled and for the first use. It was a good size. However, after only one use, and within days the screen or cover was entirely rusted and the fire pit itself was half rusted. It is now totally rusted, I should have returned it the minute it started to rust. We are extremely disappointed that we paid a lot of money for something with such poor materials and lack of durability. It just looked horrible after only two weeks, and who wants to take their lawn furniture and ornaments inside every night in fear they will melt and fall apart in the elements? Why do they call this outdoor furniture?

Assembly was pretty simple, I think anyone should be capable of putting it together. I wish it was a little thicker gauge metal for the price, but I would still buy again.

This fire pit was easy to assemble and looks very nice! It's larger, so will hold logs that are longer in length. Very pleased!

Easy to put together. Looks great. I do cover it with a tarp when not in use so I can't say how it holds up to the elements. A fun family activity to sit around enjoying a fire and cooking up some marshmallows. Love the glow of the fire at night.

Good size fire pit with a nice looking design. We haven't really used the mesh lid. I purchased it as a present for my husband, and he was really pleased with my selection. We have used it quite a bit already to roast marshmallows with the kids. We cannot think of anything we would change about it.

Been looking for a fire pit for two months. When I saw this on-line, after reviewing product and reading reviews, knew I had to order it. Love the quality and detail of the lattice design, along with the bronze color...just what I was looking for! Ashes very easy to sweep up, a plus for me. Lid doesn't quite fit over pit properly but is a minor detail for me as haven't use it yet. Have been keeping it covered but is now sitting out in the rain, so hoping it will stand up to that element. Thanks Home Depot!

When I got the box it set for while due to the size and concerns regarding assembly. Well that was a waste of time, it was so easy to put together and quick. It feels very sturdy and I can't wait to have my first bonfire. I did read about getting a cover so I will do that as we get a lot of rain. I couldn't tell in the picture when I ordered, but it does having a cooking grill included.

This is an awesome fire pit. It holds a lot of wood. Using it to clear our land a little at a time. We have lots of rotting wood logs and brush. It burns a beautiful flame. Can't wait to use it in cooler weather. I burn mine ten to twelve hours at a time. Came with a dent around the upper lip of bowl and the screws came loose during shipping. It was frustrating trying to track down all the screws in the packing material.

Very happy - can fit full sized logs for a long lasting fire.

Shipping was fast & convenient. The unit is rather sturdy and seems it will last in excess of a year of good use. It is large enough to take several large logs and can contain a rather large fire. The open sides provide for heat to your legs and feet while enjoying the fire on a chilly Florida night! When this one goes, I will look to purchase another exact model.

This is my second Fire Pit...., nothing wrong with my older one it was just going on 5 years and gave it to a freind who liked it....so I could buy a new one and so I bought this one. My other pit had Palm Trees instead of Lattice. Anyways, this is a Good Pit... I burn big Chunks of Wood and Stumps in this when we have Big Get Togethers/Parties. The only thing is, is the Fire Screen or Spark Arrester... It could be made with better material... Just register your Product for thier full one year Warrenty, so that you may order a new screen when time come. Just save your recipts to your Mail Box if you order online cause they'll want a copy of it e mailed to thier service department..... and dont forget to oreder the Protective Cover for this either.
