When I saw this product, I immediately knew that it was something I needed. I do a lot of work at my tailgate and this product give me more options for how to do certain tasks. One thing I haven’t seen mentioned is that these make great attachment points for tie downs, even when the tailgate is up. I agree with those that the state that the screws are short, but for my purposes they seem to do the job. My bedliner pulls up before the screws pull out. Not shown in the picture but the 2x4 will easily go on to the truck bed and I can put a pair of 10’ - 2x4’s all the way to the cab and extend the bed by almost 3 feet. I am very happy with these, especially at the Black Friday Price!

Easy installation, Ingenious design, quality materials...

This kit is very useful as I use my tailgate for construction a lot. Instead of pulling out sawhorses all the time I slide two 2 X 4 in and there they are. Also quite useful to extend out my truck bed for carrying loads longer than eight feet. My one complaint is the screws were not long enough to do the job, especially if you have a bed cover, minus a star. For me not quite a problem as I have tons of proper length screws to do the job.

So far I only used them doing some chain saw work. I clamped the saw to the 2x4, I was able to sharped, clean the saw right there off the tailgate with my toolbag right there in arms reach... I like them

Tailgate sawhorse kit worked out Great!! Simple installation and I don't have to carry actual sawhorses for quick jobs. Just insert a couple of 2x4's and I'm set up and ready to go to work!

Did not install the way it was discribed. I will have to drill my tailgate for it to fit. The need to drill my tailgate was not mentioned in the add

Our truck is too tall to use as a table but it’s great as a bed extender

Easy assembly satisfied

A device or gadget that will help when remote working without sawhorses, or a work bench. Also will help hold longer material in a short pick up bed. My only regeret is that they can't be flush with tailgate surface. That would be near impossiible unless it were engineered into the truck design.

The sales information made it appear to fit the tailgate on my Isuzu Hombre pickup. The fact is it does not fit. I am trying to figure out how to make it work before I simply return it.

Super quality. They don't fit solid on my 05 Ram tailgate with all the indentations. I might mount them on a metal plate and then screw them to my tailgate so I can get to my gate mechanism. Totally met my expectations.

Overall, I would recommend this sawhorse kit. It works as advertised. The only poor comments are 1) I installed on a 1985 S-10 pickup, so I assume that the tailgate and bed were standard thickness of sheet metal. The "self-tapping" screws did not start the self tapping function very easily and 3-4 of them broke off. Even with the pilot holes I drilled. But, since they give you 40 screws, there were more than enough extra to replace the broken ones. 2) I'm not sure if it is because the tailgate and bed had some dents in it or not, but sliding the 2x4s into both brackets on each side is tedious. If the alignment is not perfect, you have to wiggle and wiggle to get them in place.

What a simple yet great idea. I am a general contractor & use them almost every day. Great for hauling longer flimsy material like window trim also. Definitely recommend. My only regret is not purchasing them sooner.

Once installed a standard 2 x 4 will not go through the fittings as expected. The self tapping screws were too small & bbrittle, forcing me to obtain others and drill additional holes to complete the installation.

Had to play around with them until I found the best contact points then the enclosed screws made it easy The clamps are very easy to use and work very well
