Sorry, this item did not fit my purpose.

I have not installed the vent cover. It will take extra work to put it in as it was not exactly what I wanted but it was all you had in stock.

This vent is the exact diameter as the flex vent dryer hose. There is no way for attachment ?

Lint loves to catch onto the grid. Pretty much acts as an outdoor lint trap. Just removed about 1 year's of lint from a 10 foot pipe. Had to wash it out. As long as you remember once a month or every few months to remove the lint, this will work. Just not a great long term solution, and especially not good for rental properties. Give me louvers or give me fire!

Just what we needed

See that label in the picture? Good luck removing it to paint the vent. I pulled off the plastic cover. I've soaked it for a day and used sandpaper on it. Still covered with glue and paper. I doubt I can paint it adequately now. I also had to drill out the rivets holding the pipe onto the cover to fit it onto an existing duct where the prior vent was attached. Shouldn't be this hard to install properly. I may take it back.

I. Can’t get it to screw to my foundation outside. Tried different screws nothing works

It was simple to finish up my dryer vent through wall with this part.

Easy to install. I just needed to provide a gasket between wall and vent on outside. Otherwise, simple.

I like the covered flap. this should last longer than the old louvered one that fell apart in 2 years.

beautifully made but requires more space than I have between dryer and exterior wall. Wold be great if the was another choice for shorter spaces. Unfortunately I had to return it and resort to a stretchable/compressible. 4 inch aluminum foil version that rips too easily but is serviceable on the try
