Cheap product you could poke a hole in it with a finger it was so cheaply made

The crimped ends of the vent did not fit into the plain ends. I returned them to the store because I stuck with steel vent pipes which were robust. An elbow I purchased at the same time was weak and fell apart when I tried to install it. Avoid Aluminum if not absolutely necessary.

Replacement for old flex vent

It did what I needed perfectly.

I prefer the one made of steel than this. Steel will last longer and also adds structural strength.

I would recommend this product if it is only available in store. The product works very well for a clothes dryer application. It is easy to install. Make sure you check the appliance manufacturers guidelines for installation.

Assembly required. If you're not familiar with this type of product, it is delivered flat. You need to roll it into it's tube shape, and then go a little further to put it into a "heart" shape, to hook the edges together, and release... perfect tube. It rolls up easy enough, that I assemble it into a tube, mark the length I need with a magic marker, unroll it, cut with tin snips, and reassemble.

Worked for what I needed

This pipe worked perfectly as a solid dryer vent extension. Our dryer has never worked better!

It cuts well and slots well into place. 10/10 would vent again

The pipe can be easily cut to the right length for the dryer project I have to get the dryer as close as possible to the wall

Nothing real exciting to comment about on a piece of duct pipe. It worked perfect and if you need to attach an elbow to an expandable dryer exhaust pipe this works awesome ( because I think that is all it's used for)!
