Next to impossible to make secure connection with rigid duct, pipe or elbow, thus requiring a coupling crimped at both ends. “Semi rigid” means it will bend somewhat, but is easily dented simply by handling.

I used this on a laundry center (which is a dryer on top of a washer) and when I pushed it back the vent duct just routed itself nicely. No kinks.

I came out to visit my son & daughter in law after they had our first granddaughter to help them out. While doing laundry, I realized that there was A LOT of dust and lint in their laundry room. I pulled out the dryer and noticed that the cheap venting that was installed when they bought the washer and dryer, had a huge hole in it and had caused all of the lint,etc to be blown into the room. I immediately had my son take me to the Home Depot and I got a new METAL vent pipe and installed it myself. They have had no further problems and the dryer vent has been working properly ever since. Good quality and easy to install.

The product was easy to install but when I moved my dryer closer to the wall it was too rigid and came loose. I ended up reusing my original hose which was more flexible.

Hi! The Everebilt 4" by 8' I purchased was good. Unfortunately, I brought the one I was replacing with me and bought the Everebilt 4" by 8' because it was the same size as the one I needed to replace. When I got home the dryer duct had expanded and it was too big for the dryer. I have to go and buy a smaller one when I get to Home Depot again. My fault. Thank you.
