Very good just what ineeded

I bought everbuilt threaded rod and create a bolt kit (1/4"). Then I decided I should have some cap nuts for safety, so I went back and bought the 762-440 package of 1/4 cap nuts. My 7/16 wrench for 1/4 bolts and nuts did not fit, so I had to stop what I was doing and go hunt for a different wrench. It turns out they are selling, in America, a cap nut with an SAE thread but a METRIC (10mm) hex. There is no excuse for that. Along with another Everbuilt hardware issue on the same day, that is ruining my image of Home Depot and the quality of their items.

With these particular cap nuts, even though they fit 1/4 bolts, they are not the standard 7/16" hex nut. You will need a 10mm wrench/socket to tighten these.

Great finish on the cap, plating is near mirror finish. Thread is true, fits easily into standard socket.
