The Bolt is at least 10 degrees off of being straight where it would work properly. Poor quality control in the manufacturing. When you move the latch to the closed position and lower it, as soon as you let go of it it rotates up the bent portion faces straight out so its not secure. The only way to keep it latched is to place a bolt or lock through the locking hole. Going in and out of my greenhouse several times a day who needs the aggravation of an extra step to get in every time.

Good quality, fair price.

Not difficult to install and so far is working well.

Not my favorite type of slide bolt. I bought it to match the "catch" for the slide bolt in closed position.

a straight forward installation

My horse has been pushing on the stall door, while latch is in place. The bracket that holds latch is bending. Even though All hardware is in place.

It was easy to install however the screws on the side that the bolt slides into were very short and small

Good product drill holes need moving to use all the drill holes can be difficult to drill holes

Installed on shed doors. Outside top and bottom to hold tight closed. Works perfect.
