I am very pleased with the look and quality of these pull-out cabinet drawers. Once installed, they work very smoothly and quietly. They are better than drawers I have previous built in my woodworking shop. That said, the installation can be a bit tricky if you haven't measured your cabinet accurately. I removed the clip-on frameless door hinges and Installed the top drawer after removing the top shelf so I could easily work on it. I installed 1" angle brackets at the back edge to stabilize it from tipping once back in the cabinet. I marked and pre-drilled all screw holes with a 1/16" drill bit or a small nail with the head clipped off. However, these drawers (attached to a shelf) are heavy to maneuverer back into the cabinet. Take your time... their worth it!

I have used these slides convert the shelves in our lower kitchen cabinets from fixed to pull-out. The 22" slides are the correct size for our standard depth cabinets and I used 8 pairs of slides overall. The slides were easy to install and work smoothly even when there are some moderately heavy kitchen items on the shelves.

Product is inexpensive, low profile, simple to install and works well. After assembly, the drawer rolls perfectly and seats itself nicely in its home position. I would like to see a few more mounting screws, but everything that was specified in the directions was included. I am using this item as the ball bearing slides and guides for a simple drawer used to organize kitchen utensils in a tiny house kitchen. I used the same product 15 years ago for a similar application and the item is still working like new without ever having had a problem.

I needed a 23” drawer slider. So I bought 22” too short. 24” was too long. So I cut to fix. Drawer slides nice and easy now. This was for the kitchen silverware drawer which is about 20 to 25 pounds. Good product.

Garbage Screws
Even after pre drilling holes for the screws, I had two break (shear) and one strip out. plastic screws would be stronger. I would recommend that you go ahead and buy more screws while you are at the store.

I purchased these slides for a second hand 5 drawer dresser (framed) that I bought to "rebuild". I have never installed drawer slides so, this was a learning process for me. I measure the drawers from the back of the drawer face to the back edge which measured 13.5" so, I bought the 14" slides with the face frame sockets. I did have to add a piece of 3/4" plywood 3" tall and as wide as the inside (sides) of the dresser carcass. I attached with pocket screws and used 18ga brads to secure to existing cross piece. This was for the face frame sockets. The bottom drawer I just added a 1-1/2" thick block to secure the back of the drawer slide instead of face frame sockets. Once I added the pieces of wood that was needed installing the drawer slides were pretty easy and simple. Like I said the dresser I have has a face frame. Choose the correct set of drawer slides for the left and right side of the dresser. Install the corresponding socket on the slide, attach the drawer slide 1/16" back from the outer edge and attach a screw to secure the drawer slide to the face frame. I used a piece of 1-1/2" think block as a gauge between the drawer slide and inside of carcass to assure consistent placement of the back of the slide. To make sure I have a level drawer slide I used a square at from the face frame and squared the drawer slide and attached one back screw into the slide socket and secured it. Once the drawer slides were square I added screws to secure the drawer slides through out the carcass. The drawer slides were a breeze. Chose the correct drawer member and place the front edge of the drawer member to the back of the drawer face and along the bottom edge of the drawer, screw the drawer slide into place. Insert drawer and test for functionality. After installing my first set of drawer slides, I had no issues with then functioning as they should. The slides were very smooths without catching. Now, I need to add felt or rubber pads to the face frame to dampen the closure. Soft close, No. Self closing? Not the way the bearing drawer slides self close but, if you notice the downward angle of the back of the cabinet member in is angled downward it will "self close" pull it self closed and stay closed. Over all the install was in my opinion easy. Over all the drawer slides do exactly what they are designed to do. They are inexpensive compared to full extension ball bearing side mount drawer slides.

The drawer rails are fine; the cabinet rails, though are too short. Construction seems good; they’re fairly sturdy. Just disappointed by fitment.
