Oil-rubbed bronze = black. The online photo for the oil-rubbed bronze double robe hook does appear to be oil-rubbed bronze. When I received the hooks, they were labeled oil-rubbed bronze but are actually flat black. They do not match other oil-rubbed bronze hardware. They are good hooks at a good price, and if I wanted black I would be happy with them. But I wanted oil-rubbed bronze, so I will return.

Fantastic product. Rather than purchasing numerous robe hooks for all the bathrooms that match the towel bars, it was far more economical to install these in numerous locations, since the builder chose to not give the bathrooms any robe hooks. They are used for bathing suits, shower caps, aprons, gym and yard clothes, anything you don't want next to clean clothes in the closet. The bronze one has a great finish to it. We also got the chrome one for the bath with chrome towel bars. Got the stainless steel ones (which go well with satin nickle) for the baths that get steamy showers. We installed them with the included screws on doors only. So far, holding up. I figure if they loosen with rough use, we can always re-install with wall anchors in hollow doors. If they are going in drywall, something more than a screw is needed.

It functions as expected, but is NOT chrome plated. It's pot metal with a polished shine. Too inexpensive to return.

GOOD QUALITY EASY INSTALL

They worked out for the school to hang back packs and coats.

This simple accessory was just what we needed to finish off a project in which we changed all door handles to the oiled bronze. The robe hook accommodates night wear just fine and is so unobtrusive. I recommend the product.

We used these small double hooks (secured to a stud) to hold wet bath towels. Works great and makes a small space bath seem larger as it allows for more towel drying space in a smaller area.
