This is a good looking fan and goes nicely in my living room but it is SO LOUD! Even on slow speed. Buyer beware.

The performance is spectacular, but c'om, it shouldn't take eternities to put but one blade on!!! I have installed countless fans, and just to install but one blade in the time it took, I could've installed 20 fans!! Even though it blows like industrial, for the trouble it took, I simply CANNOT recommend this product!!

I have 8 foot ceilings if I'm lucky so I had to find a low fan. This fan fit the bill perfectly. The assembly was simple. It's no fault to me but high speed does have a slight hum but lower speeds provide plenty of air.

Great little fan for the cost. Replaced identical fan that we installed in the kitchen gathering room at the farmhouse 16 years ago. Already had the light fixture from original unit so put it back on this new unit and 15 minutes later we had a working fan and light.

We already had two of these installed in bedrooms 6 years ago. We wanted one to match for a living area with a vaulted ceiling. This model was unavailable for a few years (in oil rubbed bronze). Now they’re back! Ordered it and an 18” downrod. We were replacing an older fan and installation was easy. No wobbling no worries about balancing. This is a very nice affordable fan!

Shipped directly to the house and was easy to install. I was replacing an existing fan and wall switch which made it easier. Removal of the old and installation of the new took about an hour.

Nice-looking fan, but it doesn't push the air like my old one of the same size. Unless you're standing right underneath it, you won't feel any air or cooling. I flush-mounted it; no down-rod, so maybe that has something to do with it, but customer support says that shouldn't matter. The specification says the fan is for a room up to 18' by 18'. That is not even close to being true. Don't buy this fan. You'll be disappointed. I just bought this, and now I have to undo the wiring, take it down, and start all over again looking for a good fan.

Easy to assemble. Loved the color and had a matching extender rod i purchased seperatly.

What a great deal, needed to replace an old 1960's ceiling fan and the light was a bonus. Very smooth, no balancing needed, and quiet. Very easy to install, took me about an hour by myself using a step stool, that included taking the old one down.

I wanted an inexpensive ceiling fan that didn't look cheap. This fan hit the mark. Don't need to be an expert to install. Easy blade assembly, no screws to lose. I didn't need to buy a shaft extension for my vaulted ceiling since the fan blades are extended about 12" from the ceiling already. Reversible blades are a nice extra. *Light kit not included.

First, let's be realistic that this is still a $40 something ceiling fan. For the price point, I'm extremely impressed. Probably one of the simplest ceiling fans I've ever installed (and I've been installing them since I was a teenager). It probably took me all of 10 minutes to put it up from start to finish. When it's on, it's completely silent. Not even so much as a motor hum. The only way you know it's on is you see the blades moving. The construction of is relatively cheap (the nose cone is slightly bent, and the blades are very flimsy and can be bent with little effort). I don't have kids, so it's not a concern for me. Those with children might want to be aware of that (Anyone who had a ceiling fan as a kid can admit to throwing at least ONE projectile at the ceiling fan, against our parents' wishes. LOL). Otherwise, it's a beautiful addition to my loft, zero motor noise, and I had to do NO balancing - big points in my book. I'll definitely be buying another one for another room in the house.

They call this 'rubbed bronze'? It is brown. Used the down rod from my old fan. Fan came with about 4 feet of extra wire for longer rods. Down rod for this one is much bigger. I put my rod inside the shorter one and it worked (see attached photo). Mounting plate did not fit my standard outlet box. Had to drill out the holes to fit. Blades were difficult to install onto the motor. My main concern is the capacitor blowing out like so many other Hampton Bay fans. Wish I did my homework first.

Excellent value for the price and extremely easy to install. Our old fan broke so we had the mount and wiring all in place before beginning the replacement, but the old fan was a different size so we used the entire contents of the new fan. It looks great and nobody even noticed the fan was replaced -- they thought we fixed the old one!

Hunter fans suck, the box image in the store shows a 18” downrod, yet box has about a 6”, Home Depot is useless for trying to find a compatible downrod, just spend a few bucks more and buy a quality fan.

Definitely a budget fan as the quality of materials leaves a lot to be desired. Easy to assemble which was unexpected, however the quality of the product is definitely a reflection of the price you pay. It moves a lot of air which is good I just hope it lasts for a while. There is a little hum when it’s turned on but nothing annoying just noticeable.
