Inexpensive great replacement for the old Fluorescent large bulb with a better clearer illumination. I am satisfied with this all around led bulb with its price and design.

My cul-de-sac is very dark at night. I've ran some old Philips 830 lumen led's for years but was looking for brighter options. I picked up 2 of the 300w Feits and WOW! Just 2 of them totally illuminate the driveway, like daylight. They even illuminate the hill beyond. The bulb at the end of the garage is one of the old Philips for comparison. The pics really don't convey what my eyes see. Very intense white light. I want to replace the other 2 lights with these but am wondering if my neighbors will complain! The bulbs extend about 1/2 inch below the fixture but I don't anticipate this being a problem. The bulb itself gets hot but the fixture remains cool to the touch on both the sides and top. I am really pleased with these bulbs and for me they are definitely worth the money. A great deterrent for things that go bump in the night!

As a photographer, I'm replacing 400 Watt metal halide bulbs with these 35 Watt LED corn bulbs in my studio. My needs are based on energy savings as well as color toning during my shoots. First impressions, there's no wait for the lights to warm up and the output is startlingly bright. Additionally, the size of the bulb is so much smaller and thankfully comes with the large socket adapter. Having lights above that won't interfere with my daylight balanced images is vital to perfect shoots. All of this and with so much less energy? I'm definitely impressed!

This is the most unique bulb we have ever had. The bulb is quite large -- 8.2” high and a diameter of 3.9” -- so it may not fit in tight places. We replaced a 920-lumen halogen bulb with this 7000 lumen LED bulb. We have always disliked halogen bulbs because they got so hot. This bulb is cool to the touch right after turning it off. The amount of light is spectacular. It makes our storage room bright enough that we can easily see everything including reading words on an item or box. We are incredibly pleased with this bulb. It may last the rest of our lives. Installing it is just like screwing in a normal light bulb. If you are replacing a HID mogul socket fixture, Feit has included an adapter which allows you to use this light bulb in the larger HID screw base. It is a great and easy way to get a lot more light.

Now this is an amazing light! It screws into a regular light socket (assuming that the socket isn't too deep or the size prevents it from fitting), but, at under 200 W of actual power, it puts out the equivalent of a 1000 Watt bulb. See the pictures to see the difference it can make. I'm pretty sure this is made mainly for outdoor (large area) lighting applications, but when I put it into my shed where the lawn tools are kept, it completely eliminated all shadows. It only weighs a pound or so, so weight should not be an issue for any fixture. It does get warm, but not excessively so for the amount of light it puts out. Note that it does NOT support dimming; a dimmer would probably damage the light, the dimmer or both.

I'm consistently impressed with the build quality of Feit products. This corncob light is no exception, notably in the design and layout of LEDs and cooling sinks. It's a beast in lighting output, pushing out 7000 lumens from a relatively small 8" high housing. The integrated cooling fins look very cool and it has an array of LEDs in the translucent bottom panel to illuminate directly below the light. With a 400 watt incandescent equivalent, it's only munching 65 watts and staying quite cool. The 5000k light color temperature is considered daylight and it appears that way in my garage. There's a half second delay when energized, but it's unnoticeable. As with many of the corncob replacements, it includes the Mogul base adapter for industrial fixtures.

This is an extremely bright cool white light LED bulb. I simply screwed it into a standard light socket, in my home's utility room / shop. I normally use a combination of 4 - 100 watt incandescent light bulbs & 3 - 4' fluorescent light fixtures in my utility room / shop, but this LED bulb is so bright, I just needed this bulb to light up an entire area of the 20' x 25' room. The bulb is of the highest quality. The bulb lit up immediately, when I turned on the power. The bulb base is a standard (E26) size for the home, but includes an E39 (mogul) adapter for a larger light bulb socket, if needed. 256 LED's are attached to 6 strips that surround the bulb structure, with 4 LED's in the translucent top cap of the bulb, that also emits light. Since it uses 83% less energy, while emitting the incandescent equivalent of 750 watts & will last about 22 years, it will save me a lot of money, overall.

This bulb is very bright. I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be used for something else, but I've got it in a regular fixture in my basement, and it provides plenty of light; it's nice to be able to finally see that corner. This bulb is a little lighter and less solid-feeling than some other corn cob bulbs I've used, but I'm not expecting it to have to endure much abuse, so it should be fine.

This bulb is huge and it's bright. I'm pretty sure it's meant to be used in other applications, but I've got it in a regular fixture in my basement, and it provides all the light I could possibly need for that area. It's not very heavy and doesn't have the solid feel of some other corn cob bulbs I've used, but since it isn't the sort of thing that sees much abuse, I'm hoping that won't be a problem.

BRIGHT light for garage, workshop, attic, cellar. Fits standard lamp sockets or adapts to hi-intensity fixtures. Light output similar to 250W of Sodium or Mercury, or 600 Watts of incandescent. When I built my garage 8 years ago I used "old fashioned" incandescent bulbs, because they would only burn a few hours a month and I knew better technology was coming. VERY bright white light, compact and emits light on a 365 degree plane. Even though the bulb has no emitters on the bottom the plastic opaque cover emits light. FEIT ELECTRIC cob delivers more for less power usage. Mounts into a standard light socket ,but due to the size of the cob you may have to change the fixture. It's 10 inches long and a little bit over 4 inches in diameter. I installed two bulbs in my shed. I now have more than enough light to get my work done. Very pleased

FEIT ELECTRIC has brought my search for adequate lighting to my work shop to conclusion, finally. FEIT ELECTRIC cob bulbs are a simple replacement for a standard incandescent light bulb. The cob bulbs are longer and bigger in diameter than standard bulbs so you must have a fixture that's able to accommodate the larger size.in my situation the longer size is going to require me to relocate the socket higher than before. They are so bright they must be higher as not to shine into your eyes. The cob bulbs emit light 360 degrees, casting a very bright light in all directions. My work shop is 12x20 ft. And 2 of these bulbs make the shop look like I'm out in the sun.

This is a great light, very white light gives you good clarity for what ever you are doing. I replaced an 8 foot dual bulb light fixture with this corn cob led light and I am very pleased with the results, no more buzz from the ballast anymore. the light is also made to replace the bulb in a mercury vapor light and it even comes with the adapter socket to screw it into the larger socket on those bulbs and instructions on how to bypass the ballast. My light is 12 feet up in the garage and this bulb lights it up very nicely and evenly in the 30 by 40 foot area.

The Feit Electric 500-watt corn cob LED light bulb completely transformed my attic into outdoor daylight with its 10000 lumens Brightness. It replaces a regular watt bulb and brightened the entire attic. It is non-dimmable though but it is safe to use with no ultra violet light and mercury. Nicely packaged the bulb comes with a E26 base for connection to regular fixtures and a E39 adapter to easily upgrade HID non-ballast fixtures to LED. This is an amazing outdoor bulb for every household and I highly recommend it.

I have two separate lights within my attic and I needed a light that could fully illuminate each section of my attic. This Feit LED corn cob bulb is extremely bright, producing 400w equivalent with 7,000 lumens while using 65w. The bulb produces daylight (5,000k) and last up to 35,000 hours. This LED bulb possesses a standard E26 base and also comes with a mogul (E39) base adapter for guard/security light type applications. This Feit LED light is well built and extremely bright. It lights of my attic fully and seems quality in construction.

This Feit Electric 500 watt bulb is the largest (9" x 4"), brightest, and heaviest (> 16 oz.) bulb I have ever owned. I have an oversized 3 car garage with only one small window at the end, so when the overhead doors are closed, it is fairly dark inside. The two existing 200 watt LED ceiling lights do a fairly good job of lighting up the space, but when I replaced one of them with this 500 watt, what a difference it made. I am amazed with the amount of light put out by a bulb that only uses 80 watts. I will soon be replacing the other 200 watt with another one of these Corn Cob bulbs. These are well worth the selling price.

expensive relatively, but such a good product! only 100 watts and 10k lumens, soooooo nice. fit right into an older metal halide fixture, saved the need to replace the old unit!!!!! will buy again.

Made my garage much brighter. Could use a reflector to direct some more of the light down.

This light is super bright. No need to a hang a big fluorescent light. Well worth the money. Just screw them in like a regular bulb.

Easy to install, and does not create heat. I replaced the 75w light bulbs from the garage with A 23 300w bulbs.

These bulb are so easy to install and they are a great idea instead of installing all new fixtures. I am using them in my garage and they provide enough light to do any project. The daylight color of the light is a great choice for garages. I would highly suggest these bulbs in any garage. I would suggest 4 bulbs for most 3 car garages

I never thought I'd see the day that I'd pay nearly $70 for essentially a light bulb. I have absolutely no regrets though! I really like this light. It adequately lights up my two-car garage and performs well in the extreme cold (unlike the florescent lights that I used to use).

Have purchased 8 or 10 of these. Over all a good product for a quick and easy conversion 250 watt HID lamp. comes with a med. base so a med to mogul base adapter is need. This may cause a problem with length of the lamp fitting into fixture. Have had one lamp melt during use. Customers have been satisfied with amount of light these lamps put off.

I feel very secure at night knowing how bright it is. Beyond expectations. Worth the money!
