These pruners have a nice heft to them and are surprisingly balanced. They cut well. I haven't tried them on anything 3/4", but have cut live and dry limbs. The one warning I will pass along is that these are pretty wide when fully open. I wear a size large glove and almost have to lay the pruners in my hand to allow them to fully open. My wife has much smaller hands and would not be successful using these to cut anything that required them to be fully opened. If you have small hands, give them a trial fit at the store.

This is a very high quality pruner!! The overall construction exhibits and emphasis on high quality and durability. The pruner has amazing feel!! The pruner has a very heavy duty spring that keeps the pruner in the open position while in use. The pruner is held shut by a little clip under the spring. The overall feel couldn't be any better. I would definitely recommend for the gardening enthusiast!! Great product!! A+

Spring time i here and I had to prune bushes and shrubs. I thought these pruners were going to be an upgrade over my tired old pair. The style of these feature bypass blades for a clean cut, they were sharp out of the package, and easy to sharpen afterwards. The angle of the blades helps with fatigue if you're doing a lot of pruning and the handles have a modest amount of padding and are non-slip. The locking mechanism is too tight and although the package says it will cut up to 3/4" you'd better be pretty strong. Overall they are good pruners.

I needed a new pair of pruners for a arbor with climbing roses. I decided on these. I trust the Fiskars name from all the scissors I own. They worked well on the rose bushes unless the limbs were a little larger and then I had to put more muscle behind it than the past pair owned. It did cut through the 1/4" to 1/2" without much effort. It did not cut as easily on the 3/4". I do keep my tools like this cleaned and put away in a dry place until I need them again. Hoping they will hold up as well as my Fiskars scissors. I do trust this brand. They are nothing special, just good average pruners.

The product pack says that it could prune up to 3/4 inch thick branches, bit that is not true. It can easily cut 1/4 inch branch. Above that is not easy., and you may need to use both hands. Forget about cutting/pruning 3/4 inch branches.

Very sharp and easy to hold... large branches! Love the locking handle for safety! Best one I have found!

These are nice looking pruners, but apparently get out of alignment very easily, so mine now have gouged a good chunk out of the blade from standard garden pruning. I'll be returning them.

These clippers are a real gem. They are very comfortable to use and they are very sharp! Worth the money too since I clipped even a 1inch branch with ease. I have had them briefly, about a month, but I feel I will remain happy with the brand and clipper.

Broke after only 2 cuts. Every Fiskars product I’ve bought has broken after only light use. This was a record for quickest failure.

The blade chipped after 5 minutes of like 1/2 inch pruning. This is the first fiskars product that has let me down like this. Something is wrong with the design. Immediately returned.

Very easy to use, and yes the will cut a 3/4 in branch!

This is well-designed and will last a lifetime. I Went through three cheap ones but they lasted a single season once. It costs a pretty penny but certainly is worth it.

Blade bent on the fifth cut back near the fulcrum. I am a very experienced professional gardener and have NEVER had that happen. Had to hammer it straight. Thin blade…?

The shears are sturdy, sharp and easy enough to keep clean. I don't have a lot of use, but they are perfect for current needs.

This product did not meet my expectations as clipping small branches took more effort to cut through than clippers I have bought for half the cost. Please sharpen the blade better. This product was meant only for very small jobs and only once or twice a year. Wasted my money on these. Wish I could return

Doesn’t cut clean on very small stems

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these! They fit in my hand well. They’re not awkward to hold. Love that there’s a safety latch so the blades stay closed when not in use. They snip so clean and smooth. It’s too late in the season to trim my roses but they work beautifully on my indoor plants. Can’t wait to test them on the roses in the spring!

Hard to cut only after 2 year lightly usage. I bought it because of full life time warranty. I guess I will take it to HD to see if I can replace it, if not, I will throw it in trash.
