Great reel, works very well. Kind of a pain to install the screw that secures the pivot pins to the body of the reel, built once that's done, the reel is perfect. You'll enjoy the level-wind so the cord retracts fully and quickly.

Gave it to my son-in-law for Christmas and he said it was perfect for his garage.

This works great in my shop. It keeps electric cords from laying on the floor and keeps everything up and out of the way.

Works great and has the 50 ft cord and works wherever I need it. I highly recommend this product.

Works great. Has a reset switch, which has come in handy on several occasions. I fried the cheaper reel I had prior to this one. The light up end is a nice touch.

AS ADVERTISED WORKS GREAT

Exactly what I needed for my 3 car garage.

Was looking for a good cord reel and looked at several different brands saw this one and read reviews and decided to purchase . Glad I did it is very heavy duty and will save me a lot of time roll up and unrolling that drop cord I was using before I purchased this .

After hanging this in my garage assume discover that the retract function is not working. What a pain to have to take down and return to the store this gets a big fat negative one for me. It's a bit over priced in my opinion.

Mounted it in my shed. Working great so far.

First one broke on third yank. Plastic bite that lock reel fell out. Lesson is... don’t yank it! Not sturdy.

Awesome product works perfectly

Retractable mechanism stopped working within one month. I used it probably once every day. It’s all plastic. No idea what caused it to fail. One day I pulled it down to charge something and it wouldn’t lock in any position. I suppose I need one NOT built from plastic. If you need one for semi-regular use, look elsewhere. My 2 cents.

It's a little quick to review as time will tell if it holds up to the daily use of this product. Overall, it seems well built, only thing I would like to see in a retractable power cord is a larger diameter wire. A light on the end to show that it does have power would be nice as well.

So far I am satisfied with this electrical cord reel. For me, this lost a 5 star rating for 1) Did not come with any mounting hardware. However, the package did not mention it was included. 2) A mounting template would have made installation much easier, being able to drill pilot holes without holding the weight of the reel to mark the drilling locations. 3) If the mounting bracket would detach from the reel itself, it would also make installation easier. Having to hold the weight of the reel while using a wrench to fasten the reel was a bit tricky. Because there is very little space between the bracket and the reel, a nut driver is out of the question. Possibly a very low profile ratchet/socket might work.
