I have bought three of these cameras to keep an eye on different areas of the house. It took a little effort to set up the wireless connection and the access the cameras from anywhere over the internet. You need to follow the instructions step by step. There is also an 800 number available with someone to help you in case you get stuck. Good value and features for the price.

Having these cameras in my living room give me the greatest peace of mind. I can check in on my dogs through out the day to make sure all is well. OR I can check on them and see when they have destroyed things! The color (as you can see in the attached picture) does vary by the amount of light in the room. I have the blinds closed and the tv on. That is the only light in the room. Very easy to set up. I am able to access the picture from work on a PC, from another room in the house or even on my smart phone. I can use a Windows, Android or Iphone to view the image. I also like the ability to change the view remotely.

Wasn't to hard to set up with the help of utube videos. Just got back from a trip and it worked like a charm sending me clips of video via e-mail when sound or motion was detected when I was surveying my pets. The only problem is I need to up grade to the new model with HD and zoom

The set up was not very easy. The instruction in the enclosed manual and on-line video is not very accurate. I found the instruction in the enclosed CD is much easier to follow. Once I get the camera up and running it works fine both in day time and night vision mode. Pros: records short video when motion is detected. Sends out 6 shots of photos when motion is detected. Able to control pan & tilt remotely. two way audio. Cons: There are a few issues which I would like to point out for other potential buyers: 1. When lighting condition in the room changes, the camera will sent out an e-mail notification which doesn't bother me, but might be annoying for some. 2. the camera shutter is too slow to capture movement. So the image is blurred if a person walks by quickly. 3. The iPhone App doesn't work outside of my home network. I found a 3rd party app (free) which works much better.

Crisp and clear videos. Pan and tilt works great. Easy to install. Night vision on this camera is excellent. I have purchased another camera already.Sound works grat I have not got the speaking back and forth working yet.I just wish it had zoom.

I love this camera! I was able to set it up to view on my home network, over the internet from anywhere in the world and on my phone! I have an Android phone but I have also viewed it on my iPad and an iPhone. I thought the setup was very easy. It works quite well. I can even Pan and Tilt using my phone!! With the built in webserver you don't need to install anything to view it from the internet. This is EXACTLY what I was looking for. The only CON is no zoom feature....at least I have not found one yet.

The price for the camera is a pretty good. Set up is pretty straight forward with a little technical know how. They also have how-to videos on their website. You can find Foscam vids on YouTube. The model I bought (FI8910) came with DDNS (free) so you can watch your camera over the internet in less than 30 minutes. I've tried the camera apps on an iPod and android tablet. They are OK but I prefer a full web browser. With IE you get more features enabled even though I like Firefox. Pan/Tilt, Night vision, record and 2-way audio. Only thing missing is a Zoom feature - but for the price I'm very happy. I bought two : )

First of all you can sometimes wait an hour for them to pick up the phone. It’s off shore “support” so it’s very, very difficult to understand each other much less solve your problem. If you are pretty technical, you should be able to do it yourself with the help of YouTube videos. Equipment wise, seems to be OK. Software, not the greatest. It isn’t very user friendly. The camera may take a while to show in their “IP Camera Tool” window and then quickly disappear. One of the two Foscam cameras that we bought keeps going off line. Good luck!

Relatively easy to set up and can view from my phone anywhere. Great vid cam for the price and has been working flawlessly for 2 weeks now.

Setting up the camera requires an IT background. IP's, no-IP's, port forwarding...I am about to give up. Oh, and no recording ability. Go fish.

Decent cheap camera. But not as clear a picture as I expected.

We wanted the camera to be able to monitor the activities of the dogs in our house during our absence. The ability to move the camera coverage is a useful and important feature. This product has fulfilled our needs.

Cameras are great. Setup is a little tough because the software and documentation are awful. If you spend the time and know a little about setting these things up, you end up with a very nice product.

If you are looking for a plug & play camera, this isn't it. I rated it 3 stars because of the difficulty in set up. Connecting it internally to your wireless router is fairly easy, but doing the port forwarding so you can see it from outside your own network is more difficult. I am not a tech guru by any means, but can generally get through most things with clear instructions, which are lacking with Foscam. After a few weekends trying, I finally figured it out. Note - my camera came with a card that would allow me to call tech support for free, and they are able to log into your network and set it up for you. I chose not to use them, but at least it's available. If I could give advice to Foscam, it would be to develop a true plug and play camera like any other wireless device we may install at home. One other note: There are several free apps that work on iPhone and iPad. My advice, save your frustration and pay $5.99 for the Foscam app.

This product was not easy to setup if you aren't technically sound. I was not able to setup the camera to broadcast from the app when I left my wifi network. Renders the product useless.

I was easy to install but needed help to get it to work on a public wifi. Tech support is VERY helpful.

This is a good camera for the value. Quick delivery, I ordered Wednesday and received the next Monday. It's easy to set up and get going, good picture and good night vision on the camera. It's great to be able to view from anywhere with internet and also to have access to rotate, tilt and change angles of the camera from wherever you are. It says you can zoom, but I haven't figured out how to do that yet. Cons: I would like to be able to set more alerts and figure out how to get the alerts to email me as it says they should. I can't figure out the audio either, I have downloaded the program to be able to hear/speak through the camera, but still no sound. Also, it would be nice to have a way to log out rather than just closing the internet browser window. Overall, the downsides are minor and the camera is a good purchase.

Nightmare to connect wireless. However, once done the picture was great. I loved the "pan and Tilt" function and they both operated well. However, I simply could not get the camera to send email notification with pictures to my email upon remote triggering. I spent nearly 10 days , on and off trying to get all the features to work and simply could not master the notification part.

Home Depot had the best price.Great delivery. The product has all the features that you will need.

I wanted this camera to watch the temperature in my home during the winter when we are out of town, My son-in-law got the camera going inside the house but I could not figure out how to set it up to view remotely. The IP numbers ,e.g., had me baffled. If this could be made a whole lot easier to set up that would be much better. I did seek and got tech help from Foscam twice so it must be me.

The ONLY thing amiss is that the sound/voice does not work because Chrome and whomever got ticked at each other or some such and now it no longer allows the voice option...and I can find NO place to get a new or different plug in to fix it... other that that, it is AMAZING

While it was somewhat challenging to get fully set up and viewable on my cell phone, it is worth having the peace of mind I have now.

My wife and I decided to invest into a wireless camera for several reasons. We decided on the Foscam Plug and Play because of the ease of connection to our computer, tablet or smart phone. This camera delivers a quality picture in daylight or at night. You can use it wireless or hard wired into any computer or tablet. You don’t need a subscription for the service like you do with other cameras. I found it to be well built and durable and offered a wide range of viewing angles. We love using it to see what our border collie is up to while we’re away and it would make a great nanny cam for anyone who needs one. Highly recommended!

Love this little camera! It was so easy to install just by following the instructions included and some on-line reviews. (My knowledge of computer verbage is limited.) My only problem was linking the camera to my phone with an app. Totally impossible . . . despite all the info on the internet. I finally contacted the company and the techs were able to get into my router and adjust the settings to allow the app to work. I would NEVER had been able to make all the changes they did. Apparently, the NETGEAR router I have does not have a simple tab to address the port addresses. The techs were extremely gracious with my dumbness in this field and I have access to my shop anytime I want. Success!

I'm not good with electronics but this was fairly easy to get set up on my computer and phone. Video was good with or without lighting. Audio worked well. Very pleased with the quality of the product!

This camera is perfect for interior viewing and audio. The set-up was very easy and the images are excellent both on my laptop and iPhone. Professionally, I manage security at a bank so I have years of experience with cameras and quality. This is perfect for the average person either for home protection or a nanny cam or a baby camera that's much more affordable. Also, the night vision on this is really remarkable. Very impressive for a $70 product.

we put it outside and can see the whole front yard day or night.we can watch it snow from out laptops

Everything was complete in the package and instructions were easy to read. I hooked up the wired part to the router right away but because of lack teck knowlege , had some trouble getting wireless to work. Had to ask what some of the LAN WAP meant.

I love this camera. You can move it in all directions. The only thing I wish it had is a zoom lens.

The camera works fine, but is attached to my router. The setup was horrendous. I still havent figured out how to configure this thing to work wirelessly. Worth the money, but complicated to install and configure!
