Easy to install you can use a hack saw to cut to size or tin snips work good also . So far seems to be sealing the door good

These door seals are the only way to go with old doors. They install easily. Just trim to length and screw in. They seal tight with no messing around.

Easy to install and worked well to replace 30 year old weather stripping of similar type. Easy to cut to size with wire cutters. I used my cordless drill/driver to attach the strips to the door casing using the included screws. Took about 15 minutes to install. Tips: To avoid distorting the strip, don't over tighten the screws. Just make them snug. To allow for adjustment of the strip, place the screws in the center of the elongated hole so you can move the strip either direction if needed.

Needs a larger door contact surface, hard to get it set right so the door closes easily and yet seals enough to keep light out.

Fairly easy to install & helps greatly on sealing doors & saving on utility bills.

Excellent price, durability and install easy. Seems like all the Frost King products are very good to excellent. Don't think I've ever had a problem with any of them. Rubber portion will wear out. Replace rubber about every 5 years or so and/or needed (4-plex, 8 total exterior doors).

Inferior product. Cheap plastic. Strip are not wide enough to center on stop. Rubber also to thin to effect proper seal/placement. Ineffective and frustrating!

The rubber used for this product was poor, it was ticker than the plastic used in earlier similar product. Cold temperature do effect the flexibility of the plastic seal against a door. Please ensure to relay this information to Frost King.

Excellent idea to stop draft.

Not as good as previous purchase

Why I suffered in my drafty kitchen all these years I don't know. But after discovering this on Home Depot's website, reading reviews and checking YouTube on how to install, I have to say it has made a considerable difference in overall temperature in my kitchen. Last summer I had my house insulted (and was told that I could set my thermostat at 68 degrees and was guaranteed to be comfortable). Well this winter is the first test try and it didn't really hold true (because my back storm door needs to be replaced). After installing this stripping I have to say that it blocks that little bit of draft that keeps getting through. Once that storm door is replace, I can bet I'll be running around in my skivvies and sweating bullets with so much heat!

This is a very light weight piece of weather proofing material. It is also different from the picture shown on the website. The picture shows item number VA17W and what you get is VA17WH - an even lighter duty product with a different extrusion pattern of the aluminum. It still does the same thing, but if you're a stickler for these things and it comes in the mail...you know the drill. All in all, I've spent a lot of time looking around and this is one of the only products like this readily available and at a good price.
