Curious
We were curious how this brand would be, we replaced a different brand after 12 years. I’ll admit, it didn’t take long to convince us that we hit the jackpot. This dishwasher is all that and some.

Fabulous dishwasher
This replaced a bottom of the line Whirlpool that suffered from poor was performance. This unit is ady to use. Washes so much better than my old unit and looks great in my kitchen.

Lots of options
There are many things about this dishwasher that I love first of all it has adjustable racks so if you have something tall on the bottom, you can move the top rack up or vice versa. You can move it down. I also love the rack on the top for flat things such as utensils, the bottle washing jets are also a plus lots of options on wash cycles as well. The stainless steel exterior is easy to keep clean.

Bad quality
Bought dishwasher, side by side refrigerator and built in Owen May 19, 2020. All wheels fell of and melted on heating elements in the 1st 6 months. I ordered replacement but they kept falling of. Result of that is spinner is broken too and there is no replacement. Which means after 3 years my dishwasher is useless.
Plastic cover at the bottom of th fridge also broke soon after we got it.
I thought I was buying good quality brand when I was purchasing new appliances from my home. These are made so badly it’s ridiculous.

89% No Rinse Needed
I have been using this dishwasher for 2 weeks now and put the “no rinse necessary” to the test. I’ve only had one mixing bowl come out needing to be cleaned after going through the washer without being rinsed. The space is uniquely designed and took a couple of loads to figure out the best configuration, but it uses space well and can hold plenty of dishes.

Faulty bottom roller front left.
The bottom drawer roller comes off the front left because of the way it faces. If you have any weight on that are you have to lift it up.

Good mid priced unit.
The door is so light.. I was so used to my old GE. Nothing is made like it used to be. This unit requires cascade rinse agent or it doesn’t dry well. The unit is pretty quiet. I doubt it will last 15 years like my old one.

Good buy
So far so good. Was easy to install. Easy to clean the outside and not the quietest but I like hearing the water run. It’s not that loud either. Cleans the dishes right up and love the extra rack on top inside.

17 year of faithful service
We actually have a GE profile 2900 series similar to this model. We have loved it for 17+ years and now must replace it. It died one day, thankfully no prolonged fiddling around, just started leaking but still looks great. After 17 years figured repair might just be prolonging so plan to replace with this model.

Great features

Faulty part
Rubber elbow from recirculation pump had tear, slow leak and ruined floor. Unable to purchase just the rubber elbow. Need to purchase entire pump that will probably come with same faulty elbow

Very nice and very Quiet
Well I just installed this so I can’t say to much yet but ran a soiled plate for the first wash to clean the tub out from germs and it steamed it good on the 1 hour wash. The only thing I think is odd is how long it takes to wash a load on normal with the dry boost it’s almost 6 hours. My old GE would wash in just 2 hours and it dried okay. So I may play with it to get the time down. But it is also very quiet so I can wash every night which I guess is the normal thing to do. It was pretty easy to install. I had to plane the trim piece to get it to fit better but not the dishwashers fault. The quality is good the rollers aren’t super smooth but you can’t oil rollers for a dishwasher so this is normal I’m sure. We are very happy with this and they come on sale at Lowe’s at great prices. Our old GE dishwasher was about 16 years old and still works when we bought our new appliances we liked the slate that GE offers so GE only made sense.

Works great but a few quirks
The dishwasher works well and cleanse my dishes. I really enjoy it compared to my last much older dishwasher. However, there are a few complaints/ issues. Firstly, when I push in the bottom rack the silverware holder catches on the door seal slightly, which over time is going to rip or tear this seal. Secondly, in this model the third rack on top has very large holes and cannot accommodate small items or fit silverware very well like other models third rack can. Also, the second rack is adjustable in height which is great in theory except that when I lower the second rack to accommodate taller items, I can then no longer fit knives into the silverware holder on the bottom as they disrupt the water sprayer. So essentially the adjustable second rack is useless unless you only have short items on the bottom.

Just Installed, time to test
So far the dishwasher is working as intended, however, after the first cycle was run, we had water/condensation all over the inside of the tub, which is stainless steel. I have read other reviews having this same issue. We didn't get an owners manual with the product so I have had to download it to find out if the Dry Boost option is required every time, as my daughter didn't know how to set it, without a manual, so she just ran a normal cycle. I am hoping with the second run of the dishwasher, with Dry Boost selected, that there will not be all of this water/condensation. However, it looks very nice in our kitchen. I have learned, however, that with young kids, my 2 year old grandson to be exact, make sure you lock the controls. :)

Sleek dishwasher, somewhat difficult hookup
Attractive, fully stainless dishwasher. Top controls add to its sleek look. Came mounted to a small pallet with no box (unless the third party delivery company removed it, but I doubt it), so I was surprised to find it undamaged. Hookup was kind of a pain or I’d give it five stars. Specifically, the leveling feet have a tendency to thread in crooked!and they are difficult to level once the unit is slid into place; very little room to hook up the water supply line / turn a wrench; instructions weren’t real clear on how to trim drain line down to a smaller length; toe plate screws didn’t want to go in - had to fully screw them in with some force and back them out to get them to thread and I’m still not sure they’re the right screws (I would assume they’d be black, same as the toe plate, but there were no black screws included).

Wheels poorly manufactured
The front left wheels kept falling off after install. It eventually fell off and got burned on the heating unit during the drying process. Poorly manufactured and dangerous. My eyes burned from the smoke when I opened the dishwasher. Will be calling for a replacement.

Self installation is possible.
Did the installation myself. Easy to follow instructions when I YouTube searched for he washers. It is less noisy than my last dishwasher. So far it’s been performing great. I like the top 3rd rack.

Great Dishwasher
We recently purchased the GE® Fingerprint Resistant Top Control with Stainless Steel Interior Dishwasher with Sanitize Cycle & Dry Boost with Fan Assist and couldn't be more happier with this dishwasher! We love the bottle wash option, it really gets our taller glasses and cups clean.

Highly recommend

Product design flaws
After reading reviews about soaked floors after installation I said to myself had to be installation error. Itis a design failure!
My brother and I installed the dishwasher.
Well what a surprise, water spilling onto the floor under the machine, we shut it off immediately and pulled washer out. What a disappointment in how careless the design in for the water supply line!
GE you need to secure the supply line box from rotating and put put a hose clamp on the supply line!!!

Go with different dishwasher
I will be returning this dishwasher. This is a cheaply made dishwasher with not a cheap price. Trim piece broke within 30 days, door and racks are loose and flimsy. The only positive is it washes dishes well but so do other dishwashers…
