We purchased this 27 inch GE microwave oven combo to replace our previous GE oven that lasted 31 years. The newer technology is fabulous. No more bottom element in the way. The inside is much more spacious then our previous model. The digital display so easy to use and user friendly that I did not even read the manual yet and it’s all working great. Only issue we have is that our wiring is outdated in our house. This oven needs a neutral, hot and ground wire. We have two hots and a ground. We will have to redo the wiring because our house is old - 1981. The oven is working fine in old wiring system but we don’t want any fires from outdated wiring. We love the new oven it cooks great!!!

See the photo for my primary disappointment. Who wants to stand in front of a 3” screen and read the fine points of operating the ovens. I tried to set a 30 minute timer and cancel a 3 min cook time I inadvertently entered. While trying to do that, the screen reported the cook time was complete! I want the full instructions in writing. I also dislike the microwave door that opens from top to bottom rather than right to left. But it seems all manufacturers are doing that. Very inconvenient for short people to reach up and over the door. Would I recommend the product? I checked no because you don’t have Maybe. Why did I choose it? It was available now.

The new Combo wall oven/microwave takes the same space as the dated older model but is more efficient, more features and larger cooking area.

Omg I utilized both ovens today for Sunday dinner and I was thrilled at the quiet fans on both. I live in a manufactured home where hearing the tv was not easy before with the 20 year old GE micro combo oven. This oven is beautiful to look at and works so effortlessly!! Most importantly it is QUIET!!

This is a simple and basic oven. - little different to figure out microwave vs oven features but it is classy looking and seems to work well. I hope it works well for years to come like all of our GE appliances.

I love the stainless steel interior on microwave part! I love the door opens down and love how little sound it makes!! The bake oven is super nice! I love no heat element on oven floor! And this oven too is so quiet!

I have a small kitchen so I removed my double ovens and microwave with this. It looks great and works even better!

I have this black microwave combo unit. The oven works perfect. The microwave unit is not getting heating up at all.

DISAPPOINTED! We had our old microwave/oven combo wall unit since 1993. This was the only “replacement” from GE that would fit our space. I bought it sight unseen trusting that it would be updated but better. NOT! So impractical. I know of no one who owns a microwave where the door opens like an oven. It opens down instead of from side to side. I’m 5’4, and to reach the middle of the turn table takes the full length of my arm on my tip toes. I will have to purchase a 2-step stool to clean splashes on the back wall where I can’t reach at all. It’s beautiful but not practical which would be nice if I bought it to stare at. To use takes several more steps of 1.Press microwave button, 2. Turn separate knob to tell it to set time, 3.Push again to set time, 4. Turn knob to desired seconds to minutes, 5. Push knob to verify time, 6. Press knob again to start. I would not recommend this unit if there was a better, simpler, and comparable unit that would fit my space.

We spent some time going through all the features and were very impressed with what this combo had to offer. Super simple to understand.

Beautiful and simple product. We like to keep things fairly basic. This was a great choice for our family.

I was very excited when I purchased this wall oven and it did not disappoint! It has many wonderful features, yet it is very easy to use. I am also pleased with the way that it cooks food evenly. I look forward to using this oven for many years.

We love our GE microwave oven combo! It has a very sleek and modern look. It compliments well with our other appliances l highly recommend this purchase.

So far, the oven has performed up to its hype! No, it’s not a convection oven, but we do believe the 10-pass baking element seems to really make up for that. The dial on the control panel is different than most control panels, but it’s easy to use once you get familiar with it and gives the oven a sleek, clean and modern design. The microwave is very impressive with how well it senses and cooks food. All the different settings on reheating foods makes it very convenient. Overall, the oven looks great and has performed excellent. We’ve had it for a couple months and have cooked several meals out of it and reheated them the next day for leftovers. It was a perfect oven for our kitchen remodel. We put a lot of work into sanding and repainting our kitchen and replacing our old oven with this newer model went smooth! We did a ton of research on similar models and decided this one was the best fit!

I love the product but it’s not 3 years old yet and the control panel has stopped working which renders it dead until I get it fixed.

We replaced our 30+ year old GE Wall Oven to this model and the look and ease of use is just perfect for us. Decided to go with GE again because the first one lasted over 30 years.

Really love it so far. My only complaint is that I feel the oven is a little to small for my liking. Cooks everything great tho.

We replaced 40 year old GE appliances with new GE appliances because we’ve had no issues over the last 40 years. GE products have held up very well!

We love our new combo microwave and oven unit. Looks great in out kitchen, control panel intuitive and easy to use, full featured, cooks/ bakes very well.

Oven seems to heat evenly. I like the flat floor with no lower element exposed, especially for easy cleaning. Oven light slowly dims when turned off, kinda cool! Rotary knob to adjust temp on control panel is nice, along with the glass touch panel, not plastic, so it shouldn’t scratch over time. Microwave is very spacious, which is nice if you are heating multiple items. Beeper is a little hard to hear when you get too far away, but it is pleasant sounding. Fan is quiet. Replaced ah older double oven so had to trim about 1/2” wider and build up the bottom platform, since this oven is about 8.5 inches shorter then the old double oven.
