Stove functions great ... design is a problem. The burners have that temp control button in the middle that is depressed when a pan sits on top of it. But it does not sit flush and the pans are wobbly on the burner. Need to replace the heating element with the "old fashioned" flat burner without the temp control button. Also the drawer on the old stove pulled out by inserting your hand palm up; now your fingers are palm down and the recess is small and not as easy to grasp and pull with hand in that position.

I LOVE MY NEW GE STOVE
We just got this wonderful GE self-cleaning electric stove and I love it. It fit perfectly into the spot of our old one, it's all black which I prefer, no stainless steel to constantly wipe and polish, this black finish is easy to clean. The clock is easy to read from anywhere, as pictured it has a sensi-temp feature against overheating and causing fires, and best of all the knobs are clear on which element you are heating and how high or low you're set at, yay! It was a hit for Easter dinner this past weekend. The oven was great too, it's got a light (not all ovens do), the broiler part was awesome. I sure hope it lasts me a nice long time, like GE products used to back in the day. It's pretty to look at, efficient and we got it at great price so to me it's been win win win!

Beautiful stove
The bisque color is just gorgeous. I ordered it 3/2 and it was delivered today this morning 3/31. It is worth the wait. The delivery team was fast, professional, and were very helpful. This is my second GE range and I decided to keep the same brand because of the durability and safety of the product plus it's made in the USA. You won't be disappointed and I am very grateful to Home Depot for making this super easy. I'm excited to get the matching refrigerator next Friday!

My Best Stove To Date
This stove replaced a 20 year old kenmore. It was extremely easy to setup, the delivery was on time and took only 20minutes max to install. You must let the stove run for 30 minutes, a little smoking is normal.

Very Nice!
We purchased this range to replace a 32 year old drop in range. The oven seems to be calibrated accurately and cooks well. We love that we could find a range with coil burners as this is what we are used to.
We hope GE keeps up the great variety, value and dependability.

Great Features
The size of the stove top burners also easy to pop out and clean.
The oven door window is larger than my previous GE STOVE so I can see better the cookies baking.
The oven temperature is easier to set.
I do miss the broiler pan but kept the one from my previous stove.
The door handle is much better
When wearing pot holders as you can wear them when opening the door to get your hot items.
It has an automatic turn on the oven setting that is nice for leaving in the morning and coming home to an already baked roast

I have had this a week now and so far it works good. The burners work fine, no problem boiling water or making pasta. All my pans work on it. The storage drawer works fine, no problems opening or closing. Oven heats accurately. All controls easy to use. All in all I am pleased with my stove.

Burner keep shutting down making it difficult to cook. It takes 20min to get 3 cups of water to boil. There appears to be some sort of safety sensor (see attached) in all the burners and they keep shutting down the burner. I would love to know if the manufacturer offered different burners to replace the current ones. Just a regular burner with no sensor would be preferred. If they do, my opinion may drastically change. If Home Depot can assist in getting some resolution, it would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Glenn, thank you for your review. Starting in 2018, UL regulation requires all coil top ranges to have temperature limiting capabilities to reduce the risk of cooktop oil and grease fires. As a result, our electric coil burners now use Sensi-Temp Technology. The Sensi-Temp burners will operate differently than regular burners. They will monitor the temperature of the food you are preparing and will shut off and turn back on regularly to maintain safe cooking temperatures. They also require the use of completely flat cookware to operate properly. We recommend ensuring that your tenants are using the recommended cookware with these ranges.
