So many devices in the kitchen now have dozens of bells and whistles. It is nice to get a piece that just does what it needs to do. I’m cooking and need steam etc removed, need a little light, done!

Easy to install, beautiful addition to my amazing kitchen!!

We installed this as part of our new home construction. Is very quiet and easy to operate. It draws cooking gas is out very efficiently.

We just finished our kitchen and range hood electric was hooked up today. Unfortunately the motor is extremely loud and rattling. Will contact manufacturer and hopefully they will come out and fix asap

This is a great stove we love the sleek modern design. It’s not too noisy and the led lights cascade beyond the the stove top which is great! Buy it you’ll love it!

Not terrible really, but two things wrong with it. First of all, the little screws they supply for the top of the chimney are the cheapest crap. Strip out immediately when you try to use them. The other issue is the vent slots in the bottom section of the chimney. These vent slots are for people who choose the self venting option. On a good unit, these slots are in the top section so you can face them down and hide them when you are venting outside. This unit you don't have this option so the venting shows through the side of the chimney. I have painted the duct in the past when this happens, but it's not perfect. Also, the instructions are horrible.

Very nice design and performance The first time we used it it did its job. This product is easy to use and has a great look to our kitchen.

Fan works well, only gripe is that I wish the lights were LEDs and not halogen/incandescent

We are overall satisfied with this hood, except for the appearance of the chimney. We wanted the hood to sit lower so that it captures more humidity, smoke, etc so we used the chimney extension that came with the appliance. Unfortunately, it looks terrible. We are in the process of remodeling our kitchen and this appliance is a major glitch in appearance. Not only is the seam where the two pieces meet apparent, but the whole extension seems to be fabricated from a different shade of silver.

This range hood looks 100%! Not only does it look spectacular, it works! External ventilation setup prevents the smoke detectors from going off even when searing steaks in cast iron!

This hood doesn’t match my Samsung appliances BUT they totally go together! Very neutral. The fan is great and does not sound like an airplane jet!!!

After owning this for two weeks I turned the lights on at night and they both sparked and blew. I killed the power at the panel and took the bulbs out to find the wiring around the receptacles is damaged. The holes where the bulbs recess had a sharp metal edge from the stamping that causes the wiring harness to press against this edge and become cut. I scheduled a service call with GE and when I described the issues to the tech he stated "If this is the 30" hood I think it is, yeah, we've had issues with the wiring getting damaged on the edge of the hole". GE needs to recall this and add a grommet around the hole to protect the wiring instead of released a product that could kill their customer!

We love the look. We hope to make an update to the duct cover in the near future. We want the solid cover look from to to bottom. Other than that it really is the lol we wanted to our kitchen.

I like my hood because it was affordable and it converts so that the air circulates through a filter. Venting outside isn't an option for me. That said, I gave the hood a 3 star review because 1. the hood is loud on low and I only use high when I'm frying something on the stove, and 2. a recent incident occurred involving the internal electrical wires that connect the light bulb to the control panel. After 4 years of regular use, the right light started make funny buzzing noises, then popped and burnt out. We investigated and the electrical cords connecting the light socket to the main controller touched the hot halogen light bulb, burning the cord in two. We shortened the wires to an appropriate length so there was barely any drag. See photos. I bought my hood in 2016, but if the manufacturer is still using the same design, then you might want to shorten those electrical wires just to be safe.

Easy to install, works well, fan is quite but powerful

This is simply a beautiful hood that works well and has modern features. We installed it above our GE gas range.

Ya know how you walk into someone’s hone and you can smell what was cooking yesterday!! Well this vent has so much draw that will not happen in my hone. Works well, great lighting as well no complaints with this product.

We are liking this product very much, we use to cook lot of spices which use to spread smell all over the house. Post switching to this product we are not seeing such issues , where it is sucking out efficiently and also with less noise.

This hood is beautiful. The lights are bright. Even on the highest setting it is still very quiet.
