This "O" Ring fit my GE Whole House sediment filter housing perfectly with no leaks! Works every time and includes silicon grease as well.

To me none of them are great. Hassle to take off and the o ring stretches all the time. Get city water if possible this is not enough for clean water.

I change it twice a year. Love it. Order out from Home Depot pick it up. Pick it up. No, not done.

Fits great and comes with the lube to ensure it stays flexible and stays in place.

Horrible system! I have years of plumbing/home improvement experience and attempted to install this unit not once, but TWICE! Each time this unit developed a small drip on both sides of the water connection!!! I tried 2 different fittings (CPVC 1" male/ Brass 1" nipple) and used pipe thread as well. No luck! still leaked!!!! On the 2nd go-around, the red air release button started leaking as well. I ended up removing the filter completely after many hours of frustration. Don't purchase this!!!!

We need these for changing the water filter. We find that they only work for one time of change. They seem to stretch a bit too big after one use. Not sure why that happens.

I originally installed a Pentair Whole House Water Filter several years ago, which did a great job. Then there was an issue with the unit and when the time came to replace it, The GE Whole House was only available. It has worked as well as the Pentair. If you wonder what is in the water you drink, you might be shocked. Over the years, I have replace the filters every 90 days. However, over the last 2 replacements, the filters have looked like muddy water is going through them. The filters looked dirtier in 4 weeks than they have in 12 weeks. Glad we have them.

It was fine, however I bought the cheaper paper filter and not the micron one. The overall purchase process was very easy.

Wanted system to stop hard water rings. I hope to add this capability to the system.

We usually change the rubber gasket at least every 6 months. No leaks! The old one starts getting loose and will leak. We change the filter every 30 days
