Received the 2 melody and 1 push button yesterday. While attempting to install today, the push button clip on the base that holds the cover on broke off the first time I removed the cover to insert the battery as the instructions indicated. Now the push button cover won’t snap on securely so I’ll have to return it. On a positive note, it was easy to set up and I’m slightly hard of hearing but once I got the battery inserted the highest volume works perfectly for me and are the reasons I gave it a 4 star rating! I’m so disappointed that the push button part broke and the whole thing will have to be returned as I was pretty excited about having a doorbell for my apartment. It appears that this particular product is no longer available through Home Depot so I’m now forced to try another brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the way this 8-melody Plug-In Door Chime works. It was extremely easy to install and I located the base within 50 feet of the button. I like changing up the melodies from time to time since there are 8 to choose from. I keep my volume at the loudest level only because I'm a bit hard of hearing. It's super convenient because it can be easily moved at any time.

Say you are working in your garage or upstairs where you might not hear the door chime. Just plug the door chime in any outlet where you will be and you will not miss anymore guests coming to your door. You can change out the melody of the chime to 8 different melodies and there are 4 different volumes. This is so easy to use. I wouldn't change a thing!

I decided to give this product a try and I am not disappointed. It is very easy to install with easy to understand instructions for setting it up. I like the third melody more just because it seems louder to me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The door by our driveway is a side door and we can never hear when someone knocks so we would end up watching for someone to come by, or they have to walk around to another door to alert us of their arrival. It’s annoying as all get out but we love the place so we have just dealt with it. When we got this door chime I had to wonder why one wasn’t installed a long time ago because it’s so simple, yet effective. The button comes with a piece of adhesive that makes it quick and easy to apply outside the door, and the chime plugs into the wall and is loud enough to be heard from the front room, where we usually are hanging out. I would definitely recommend this to anyone with the same style of home or if you just want a nice alternative to the knock for your guests to utilize. Very handy!!

I was looking for something simple and economic and have to say that this works like a charm, it was fast and easy to setup and the melodies options along with the volume adjustment is a wonderful thing...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm so happy with my GE Plug in door chime! I've tried 3 other brands before this one and they all stopped working shortly after using. I am very confident that this one is the winner! In fact im already planning on purchasing another, you can sync them (from what I read in the instructions). This was a very easy install, I did it myself and it took literally a few minutes. Now I don't have to stick a note on the door to call me when people show up! I can take this on the back patio, garage or anywhere in the house and it always lets me know when someone has pushed the button! Highly recommend this one, like I said I'm getting another button to go with it, it's a keeper!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Never had a doorbell before, this one is pretty cool, it has 8 different sounds that you can choose from and just plug the speaker thing in the wall, choose your sound choice and use the peel and stick to attach it to the outside of the door and wait for your company to show up. We don't get much company so we randomly go out and ring it just to hear it.

I love the fact that all I had to do was attach the button to the outside of my home and plug the door chime into an outlet. This door chime comes with eight different sounds which are pretty nice! The wireless range is also good. Right now I have the button located at my front door and the chime unit plugged into a kitchen outlet. Even with walls and doors the chime unit is able to get the signal more than 50 feet away. Which is not a surprise as the manufacturer says you can have the button and chime unit up to 150 feet from each other. Although this unit come with four different volume settings the loudest is lounge enough to hear but, just isn’t loud enough for me. I am happy with this door chime and even happier with the easy installation of it. I would happily recommend it to anybody looking for an easy install doorbell.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This chime bell is amazing ,I live where I can't hear when people are knocking get on my door,so this is perfect for me.I put on the screen door I put the button above the door handle so ppl can see it.The bell has eight different sounds,It's great you can set the volume.I can move it and put in my bedroom at night time .I absolutely love my chime bell.move it to any room.you can hear it anywhere. MY husband put it in the garage while he was working and he could hear the chime bell any where's. Up to 150 feet.it's great
