Much easier to cut and install than normal acoustic ceiling...
Much easier to cut and install than normal acoustic ceiling tiles. They are also much thinner so I could mount the grid closer to the joists. Very happy with this product for my basement bathroom.

Tiles don't sit flat with my track
Good tiles, I like the material but I have the CGC Donn track system and it doesn't lay perfectly flat.
If you have the right track these would work great. Easy to cut. Very clean looking.

Thank you for your review of our Genesis Smooth Pro White Ceiling Panels. We apologize if you are having any issues with your installation. All stab grid systems, like Classic X Cliq and USG Donn DXL and Armstrong Prelude XL use an overlap design at the cross-tees. This causes about a 1/16-inch raising of the ceiling panel at the corners. This is the case for all ceiling panels, including Genesis, mineral board acoustic and vinyl-clad gypsum. One method to reduce the raised tile problem with stab grid systems is to use our Genesis hold-down clips in the ceiling tile corners. After your tiles are installed in the grid, identify which corners need to be clipped. Please feel free to reach out to us with any additional questions you may have at 800.434.3750. Thanks again!

Gamechanger
These are the only way to go in any area that could see moisture like a bathroom or in an old building prone to occasional leaks due to anything from old roofs to negligent tenants. Never replace a damp, or waterstained tile again.
Also plenty rigid to install a 6" disk light without messing with brackets.

These were used to replace acoustical ceiling tiles in a food service business. They are actually kind of "fancy" foam core boards, but were excellent in filling the need to have a smooth, washable ceiling. Flexible, easy to install, easy to trim when necessary. They look great. We haven't washed them yet, but the surface is wipeable.
