Planter box
I made a couple planter boxes with the corrugated metal. It looks good and I think the boxes will last much longer than all wood. Plus the price of wood is very high right now. They have been out of stock recently though.

Good at first ... BUT ... Indoor use only
I have had these panels about a year. I've noticed that most bad reviews are because of the light gauge.
I purchased these because they are light, Easy to work with and price. 5 stars.
However, I expected the galvanized coating to last more than a year. 0 stars.
First pic, panel on the left is 3 months old. The right panel is a little over a year.
I have 6 of these with degradation of the coating to the point of being unusable without sanding and refinishing.
Extremely disappointed. !
The main reason for this purchase was because it didn't require an additional finish.

I used these to cover the roof of a racoon enclosure. It was light weight and easy to handle on my own. I used a cutoff wheel in a 4.5" grinder to cut it to the proper size. Went on very easily and has held up well. I will definitely use these again!

These Panels are grossly under gauged. extremely thin, delcate and very easy to damage.

This panel is the lightest gauge Metal Roofing Panel The Home Depot stocks, heavier gauges are offered, some stocked in stores and all available through their Special Order Program. The Utility panels are mainly used for shade and shelter applications and have become quite popular for many DIY projects indoors and outside as well as crafts. These panels are not meant to be walked on. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Very thin gauge (maybe the equivalent of 3 layers of an aluminum can). Very easy to punch a hole through, bend, or dent (will not support any weight, and hailstones larger than golf ball size will punch right though it). The hills & valleys do not match the "closure strips" (wood, plastic, foam [sold separately]) very well, nor do they match the scroll of the "ridge cap" material (also, sold separately) at all.
Do yourself a favor and purchase a better/heavier gauge material (you'll be glad that you did).

I'm sorry you had a problem with the closure strip profiles aligning, The Home Depot stocks these both for the metal panels as well as the plastic panels and the corrugation pattern is slightly different for the two roofing profiles. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Absolutely the Gibraltar Building Products 10 ft. Corrugated Galvanized Steel Utility-Gauge Roof Panels worked for me. I made my own carport (15’ X 20’) and used them to give me shade and seal from rain. I even used a few on the sides to keep the sun, rain and wind from blasting me. They were easy to install and I may do the sides later. I am very happy!

Beware if you are thinking you might get $50 or $100 off of a purchase with Home Depot Consumer Credit card.
This corrugated steel roofing is just too thin, I contacted them and asked if I could order thicker. They found 24 gauge, but it was only 24" wide. I needed 26" to replace the Palruf that only last 2 years. So I bought 14 sheets, when I only needed 7 so I could double it and hope for the best. I also thought I would get $50 off if my total was over $300. Wrong!
