It looks nice in the package, but the 'chrome' on the end pieces immediately started flaking off. Also, the tension wasn't enough to hold up the shower curtain - and I had it as tight as I could get - so I put a bead of caulk around both ends to secure it. It works, and it didn't cost much. I'm just finding chrome shavings all over and they are impossible to clean up. I wish I had bought a different rod. I gave it 2 stars because it works and I paid very little for it.

Product comes assembled. However, the Tension inside the shower rod releases and it Slowly Slips down the wall. No directions so I've had to go to Google and ask others a remedy to keep the rod from Slipping !!!!!!

I bought this for my mother's shower she was very happy with it. It has a nice solid finish and simple to install. A good solid product.

I had no problem installing this rod, took a 1/2 an hour and it is solidly on the wall. Looks great. Only problem with rod is the curtain hooks slightly hang up at the junction of the smaller/larger rods. I can only think that those who complained theirs keep falling didn’t properly install it. Hints: 1. Use a couple of pieces of masking tape on each wall. Measure down from ceiling where you want it and measure in from edge on both sides and place tape. This will ensure it is level. 2. Use rubber gloves to grab bar and end cap so you can tighten very tight.

This is a very nice rod and I was disappointed, I had to return it. My ceramic tile was only 2 inches wide and the end caps were too large.

I am very happy with the quality of this shower curtain rod. This was purchased after buying and returning 3-4 rods from another store that didn’t work. I’d rather pay a little more money for quality including sturdiness - this rod looks great and works just as well. Since buying this I bought another of the exact same product online.

So far so good. Installation was quick and easy. The list is great for the price!

The tension rod held up well. It slipped once but after retightening, didn't fall again. No evidence of rust or discoloration either. A great purchase!
