Frame was damaged and unusable out of the box. I called gladiator for the replacement frame pieces and they said it might take a few months!! Incredible! What a huge amount of wasted time to repackage and return.

I bought 3 Gladiator shelving units for a warehouse. Two came on one order, one two weeks later. Two of the three units were damaged. One, the side where the crossbars attached was twisted and unusable. The second side of the same unit, the weld connecting the front and rear bar was broken. The unit that came two weeks later, again the weld was broken connecting the front from the back. The units are easy to put together, but are extremely cheaply built with cheap materials and bad welds. I contacted Home Delot customer service and after 30 minutes waiting, they sent me to a different website to fill out a form. No thanks. I just won’t buy anymore Gladiator products and I’ll fix the units myself.

Ordered this product August 2 and received August 13 from Home Depot. I was expecting it on the 9th but it was pushed back several days. Just now unpacking it and realize most of the welds were broke and I’m not able to use this product. Very poor quality. I’m very disappointed. Now I need to return this waste of time.

These Gladiator racks are awesome, super easy to put together and very sturdy. Would highly recommend and buy again when I need some more.

I picked this up last night and got around to unboxing it at lunch today. One upright has 3 broken welds, and is unusable. I contacted Gladiator support, product is back ordered until July, so no replacements available. I would recommend unboxing it before leaving the store to check for damage, or find a alternative brand. Frustrating to drive 40miles round trip to pick this up, only to have it damaged. Now I get to box it up, drive another 40 miles to return the stupid thing.

Pretty easy to assemble. Can be done with 1 person, though instructions say 2. Only tricky is at the very beginning. This 60+ yr old dude did it, no issues. Didn't take very long. Only issue was a few of the short cross-braces seemed "short", but it was probably the long rails being a hair too far apart, I had to use a parallel clamp to squeeze it a bit, no big deal. Seems strong. I put some hardboard across some of the shelves so it would be a flat surface. Would buy again (if on sale).

Quality has greatly declined from older versions. Structurally the shelf has one less brace, there was a broken weld, the supports were bent and the grid shelves are now much flimsier. There was also lots of little nicks and scuffs everywhere. I paid more for Gladiator because the quality was good—this is no longer the case. Will not buy again.

The metal material is a low grade. We decided to add wheels to it for better movement of it and the legs didn’t hold the weight and the legs bent and almost it falled on top of our car.

Sturdy and easy to assemble. Would recommend.

3 weeks after purchase the item arrived. Every looked boxed up like new. It wasn't until I started assembling I noticed markings where the crossbars meet the vertical stands. After further inspection it became clear this rack had been used before as I could tell exactly where the previous owner had put each shelf on the vertical stands. They must have abused it as I can see chipped paint where the two pieces meet and must have rubbed.

After removing the product from the packaging, which was entirely in tact, we found the uprights broken at the welds in several places. It was packaged that way, not damaged after it was packaged. Very cheap looking and disappointing.

Extremely well built. As a female, i put this in my suv by myself. Put it together by myself, EASILY. Highly recommend

Great product! So easy to put together - no tools required. Instructions state to use two people for assembly. I am a 5’2”, 68 yo female, and I assembled this 77” Wide Heavy Duty Rack by myself with minimal effort. Instructions were easy to follow - all pieces just slide in. Once put together it is solid and sturdy. Price was right also - this was one of the least expensive for this size. After much research for heavy duty racks, I opted to go with Gladiator - and am so pleased that I did. Delivery was right on schedule and product was placed in garage where it was easy to unbox and remove pieces one at a time. I will absolutely be making more purchases of Gladiator products!

I've been using these for my warehouse for years. Well constructed, easy to assemble, and helpful that they can be connected with other units. Makes for a great way to stay organized in limited space.

2 different units both had bad welds on the end pieces. I ordered this on Black Friday because of the sale price. Got it home to assemble it and it had a bad weld on the end piece. I returned it and ordered another. When the second one arrived, it also had a bad weld.

Nice unit for storing lighter to medium weight items with bottom surface area larger than 4” in diameter. Impressed by robustness of frame, shelving rack supports, and simple assembly (no tools required). The shelving racks employ a metal grid/grate design. These could be stronger gauge metal as they bow a bit under heavier weight. Also, the grid/grate design is somewhat widely spaced, so smaller items cannot not sit on the rack, as they will fall thru (see photo for example).

Great product easy install

It is durable but theres a lot of bent parts. This thing is not aligned, so i had to remove the welding bond and realign. It’s kinda annoying to think you would get this quality with the amount you’ve paid.

These were ridiculously easy to assemble, and I'm a small person who did it solo. I love these shelves more than is reasonable, and they created so much more space in my garage!

We had been using plastic shelving in the garage and after a year or so it would start sagging. When we moved we needed more shelving and decided to purchase the Gladiator shelving. Best purchase we could have made... the shelving is very strong, very easy to put together and looks great. My wife and I are both in our mid-60's and we put 2 shelving units together in about 15 minutes. We paid a little more than the plastic shelving but I expect this to last longer than we will be around.

The great product. I wish the quality control was better. One of the parts for the product clearly seemed to be defect where some side of the part was bent. When I saw the other reviews about parts with defect, I thought it wouldn't happen to mine, but it did. I wish the quality of the parts were checked before the delivery. I was able to assemble things well even so. However, it did not feel good to see the part with a defect when I bought a new product.

Easy to put together had to tweak ears a couple times to get to fit taking shelving out of packaging was time consuming . I put all 4 shelves together myself a little tough but manageable.

The easiest shelving unit I’ve ever assembled. Took 2 people, but only because of its size. The entire unit slid together without the need for a single tool. Love the size and stability of the unit. Great value. Would 100% recommend.

These are solid storage shelves. I really like the size and structure. But, as with other reviews, one of the tee joint welds was broken and I didn’t see the break until the unit substantially assembled.

These were perfect I bought 2, they held a lot and surprisingly were very easy to setup no tools required, my husband put up one and showed my 13 yr old and he did the rest. I'm in love with my garage everything is off floor and well organized, we repainted the garage wall and put the epoxy paint on floor to give it a beautiful organized look.

We love this shelf! We did some research on some of the best shelves out on the market right now and we went to a few stores to look at options as well. This was our favorite for sure! We really love it and I think it looks great too. Well-made and a thing of beauty! Who could ask for more?

This rack is great! VERY sturdy, assembled by hand, and matches the rest of my gladiator stuff. I did need to cut thin plywood sheets to lay ontop of the wire shelf inserts, otherwise small objects can fall through.

I had help putting this in my truck by a helpful associate as it’s pretty heavy , when I arrived home I opened the box and took out piece by piece and placed on the floor . It was quite easy to put together solo
