Lights look great and give good light. I would do 5 star if it was built better quality and detached box for wiring . It was kind of hard to install with 14 gauge wire and plastic mount came off twice. Also box being small hard to fit more wire especially if your adding more than one. The14 gauge wire restricts the light movement a little. But overall looks good.

Quality Low-Profile Recessed Lights. I’m pretty impressed with the total light output of these LEDs. Nice clean white light that is not too warm or too cool. Installation was typical for your average can lights. I should have used a lighter gauge wire, because the box is adjustable on one axis, the heavier weight of the wire will pull these lights out of adjustment. The notches on the pivots are small and do not have any way to tighten them down. The "weight" of the wire creates an uneven area around the trim ring, see photos. Trim rings are average quality, love how you can adjust the light.

These recessed LED lights are a great addition to your house. Installation is very straight forward. I had direct access to my attic in the area these were installed, so it made it very simple. That being said, I think it would still be simple to instal with limited attic access. The lights can be angled in 1 single direction, so if that is your goal, make sure you install them with the right clocking. Also, the junction box moves with the LED light, so be sure to leave some slack on the cable. My only concern, as with every other LED lamp now days is that the LED bulb is not replaceable. If these go bad, you'll need to buy a new lamp.

The only thing with these is that you need to supply your own wiring cable. Once you get that these are really easy to assemble in the house. I placed mine out over my kitchen. Being that my kitchen is where I am most of the time. I wanted to make sure that there was plenty of lighting. I recommend placing them with enough space before installation because you want to make sure that the light will not be too close to each other.

These 50 watt equivalent LED lights are great additions for accent lighting. Simple to install, and easily aimed to the angle you want, they can highlight any object you wish. Simply cut a 4" round hole where you want to mount the light, attach to your power source, and fold the spring loaded arms up and let it snap into place. These are some of the easiest fixtures to install yet!

The first that came out of the box was template to use when cutting the hole. I used a stud finder to make sure that I was not in the wrong place to install the light. Some slight adjustments were made because the perfect place was under a beam. After using the template to mark the locations I used my Milwaukee rip saw cut into the drywall. I then fished the electric wire from another light fixture. I completed the wiring assembly before you pushing the fixture into the drywall ceiling. The build in clips are great for a remodel job to secure the fixture in the ceiling. The are great to angle down on a picture or other object you are trying to highlight in the home or office setting. The lights look good the Quality of the housing is a little less that other light kits I have installed in the past

I ordered these lights for an area in my basement that needs a little more light. This are 4" round, which was perfect for my install location. I haven't installed them yet, but I can tell from previous experience installing recessed lights, that these will be pretty easy to do. My favorite feature of these lights is that they are directional. If you want to highlight a piece of art on the wall you can point them in that direction or if you prefer to have them direct light downward, you can do that as well. This seems like a quality made product and I cant wait to cut the holes and run the wire so I can see how bright they look.

A great set of recessed lights. Easy to install, look great, and the perfect color white lights. And these LED lights are dimmable. I have wanted to install recessed lights in my kitchen for years. But until now they were too big,hard to install, and pricey.. Well this Globe lighting 4 pack changed all that. The lights have spring locks holders, so after you cut the round hole using their template to mark the hole , you attach the wiring to the light, and flip up the spring holders as you put the fixture in the hole and it snaps in place and you are all done. These 4 lamps can also be tilted besides being able to rotate the fixture to where you want it.. And the LED bulbs give off a nice warm white light and should last for years. These will work in just about any room and decor. The frames are a flat white finish and they should blend well in any ceiling. Very glad to have these.

We ordered these recessed lighting fixtures to be installed in our basement, which we hope to start finishing this winter. Although we will be using them in new construction, they also can be installed in an existing ceiling. With new construction, you simply need to run electrical cable to the locations where you want the new fixtures, cut holes in the new ceiling in those locations (using the supplied template), and connect the wiring to the fixtures. Then the fixtures can be inserted into the holes and are held in place with the spring-loaded clips. Remodeling applications are also simple, but you still need to supply the electrical cable. If you are just replacing old fixtures, then you only need to connect the new fixtures to the existing electrical boxes, but if you are placing the new fixtures in spots where there are no existing fixtures, you will need to run electrical wiring from some other source, and that may or may not be difficult. But the installation of the fixtures themselves is quite simple, once the electrical wiring has been installed. In both new construction and remodeling, you will need to secure the wiring to the junction box with cable clamps, which are not provided, but they are inexpensive and readily available at your local Home Depot. The fixtures we ordered are rated for "soft white," but they are also available in "warm white." Regardless of which white you choose, the life expectancy of these fixtures is more than 20 years, and because they are LEDs, the energy consumption is far less than a standard bulb. In addition, the beam is adjustable, the lights are dimmable, and the fixtures can safely be installed in direct contact with insulation. Also, if you want a larger or a smaller light than these 4-inch fixtures, Globe offers 3-inch, 5-inch and 6-inch fixtures. Finally, the fixtures are quite attractive and we look forward to enjoying them for many years.

This is a very simple and easy install all-in-one housing. These lights are 4 inches around and are directional. You can install in one long chain with a single switch or place them in groups with multiple switches. These are all in one. Meaning there is no need for additional housing at all. They are lightwieght and can easily sit on the ceiling drywall without needing to be attached to the joist. Additionally, they already have the trim installed making install super easy. Easy as run a wire from a switch, open the electrical box, hook up the wires, cut hole, place it in from the bottom, done. I am very fond of remodel all-in-one lighting systems and have them throughout my house. This one is even better because its tension mounted (most globe remodel lights are) but, it is directional giving the opportunity for a spot light effect.

I wasn’t sure of the quality due to some of the reviews but I needed some extra kitchen light and thought I would try these as we have been happy with this manufacturer in the past. The first thing I noticed is they supply you with a template. We had an idea where we wanted these placed but to be sure I took a flashlight, placed it on the ceiling, then tested it to see if I had the light where we wanted it. Some slight adjustments were made and I knew we had a 45 degree beam angle and I marked the locations. After using the template to mark the locations I used my zip power tool to cut a nice circle into the drywall. You will need to purchase “cable clamps” if you don’t have any on hand. You want to do the wiring hookup before you install the fixture into the drywall. I found the clips holding it in place to be very sufficient. I can see if you don’t cut the hole correctly and make it too big you will have issues. We have used similar products many times in the past without issue. This manufacturer put out a very high quality product. If you take your time, cut a perfectly round hole, take care in installing the fixture and you should have zero issues. I like these can be right up to the insulation. No bulbs to buy, install once, angle correctly and done! I have two on one switch and two on another switch. You can buy a dimmer but we have no need to dim these in the kitchen. We have an advantage as we remodel many homes and adding these to our home kitchen was easy. Even installing the extra switches was easy as we have wire fish sticks. After some minor lighting adjustments we were finished. They use very little electricity and give ample light.

I would recommend these lights mainly for the ease of installation. The down side is, the aren't the best as far as quality and appearance, but they are ok. The swivel on the is just soft plastic and is not going to hold up well over time/use - hopefully you just set and forget. The light array can be seen and is not as pleasing as some of the newer frosted covered LEDs that have a very even glow to them. I did put this on a triac dimmer and they did dim well - however there was some hum. All in all, just an average light with a really good mounting system.

My wife was nervous about LED can lights that require the whole fixture be changed rather than just the bulb. Her concern may have been warranted. The first one I installed buzzed when I turned it on for a few seconds, the popped, smoked and went out. There must have been some kind of internal short. I tried another one and it seemed to work fine, but I was too nervous to permanently install them, so I will be returning the box and looking for something else. Otherwise they looked nice, and had nice light. Good price. Just poor quality.

Poor quality and not very sturdy. Besides not being concealed. Need to use light gauge wire when installing, because it puts too much pressure on light causing it not too adjust properly.

These lights have no provision for the ground wire. In good conscious, I couldn't install these. Will be returning them.

Easy to install, no more bulky metal boxes to try and fit in and secure.

A night light is brighter! Returned to Home Depot.

I bought 20 of these lights. I wired one up and the output is what you would expect fully dimmed on a dimmer switch. Strictly an accent light. Not enough light for me. I’ll need to return.

this was a replacement fixture, not quite as bright as what it is replacing, but that's just the bulb and it didn't come in a higher led

Great except.... the cool swivel feature is at the mercy of the stiff feed cable. You won’t necessarily be able to reposition after installing.

I will be returning,.. These gimbled IC Rated pot lights are all one unit, meaning that the housing for the electrical is on top of the light itself.. Being IC rated they are to sit up too or against the insulation, the size of the pot lights electrical housing hampers the ability to rotate to position the light in the ceiling against the insulation.. additionally, when trying to put in ceiling, the bezel wants to pop off from the body of the light,, While the light itslelf is OK, I think there are better designed ones out there.

One light lasted a week. Now I have to get an electrician back to replace the offending bulb. Very disappointing!
