First, it does not let you know if the WiFi network it is connected to actually allows it to transmit. Then, the battery died only a couple of weeks after installation from the package. Finally, it appears that it stopped working altogether after about a month.

Very easy to configure with the Globe appp. Tested and works first time! Works with our Cogeco no problem over WiFi, and sends notifications on our phones. I recommend this product.

Elegant, premium-looking IoT device. With the wired remote sensor, the design is well-suited to monitoring leaks under the diswasher while accessing the device through the cupboard. Easy set up with good quick start documentation and readily available youtube videos for more detail. Simple, yet quite configurable, app.

I give it two stars because I believe it has a design flaw. The user is not sent a notification if the sensor loses wifi connectivity. The only way to know if it is working is to wet it. In contrast, the Honeywell Lyric sends a notification when the connection is lost, and restored. In sum, if the the unit lost the wifi connection for any reason - becomes wet - you will not be aware. Globe user support did advise me that a low battery condition will send an alert.

Gives peace of mind knowing it will send you a notification should it detect water leak. Very good product!

I had to change my wifi settings in order for this to work, which wasn't realistically possible. I wish I had seen that in the reviews or product description before I purchased it.

So far, the water sensor has been working flawlessly. Setup was a little frustrating, as the instructions provided with the unit were poorly thought out and provided very little help. Getting the unit to connect to the WiFi was tedious, had to try well over 10 times before it would connect. If better instructions and a much easier connection time, these unit would be a five star.

I had to call Globe customer service to get the device connected to my WiFi - they were very competent and took only a few minutes. Otherwise the product works as stated. Nice compact size and the peace of mind is priceless.

I had to return it back to the store, did not work at all.

We tried many times to get this item to work but failed. It is very hard to coordinate with the website

Item didn’t work, wouldn’t sync with my router / mobile app. It’s sitting in the box in the basement.

After numerous tries to sink up the alarm with my cellphone, I gave up and returned the item!I was extremely, disappointed!!!

Low volume sound, if you're away from your phone it'd be hard to hear.

So far the system works great. Difficulty in opening it up to get to the battery kept it from five stars. It’s a twist open and no instructions to show how.

Easy to set up. The App works perfectly. The cord to the sensor is pretty long so you have lots of flexibility to mount the sensor in a place where it is easy to reach. No wifi connectivity issues. It has not been tested with a real leak yet, but so far I like it and plan to buy one more.
