I give it two stars because I believe it has a design flaw. The user is not sent a notification if the sensor loses wifi connectivity. The only way to know if it is working is to wet it.
In contrast, the Honeywell Lyric sends a notification when the connection is lost, and restored.
In sum, if the the unit lost the wifi connection for any reason - becomes wet - you will not be aware.
Globe user support did advise me that a low battery condition will send an alert.

So far, the water sensor has been working flawlessly. Setup was a little frustrating, as the instructions provided with the unit were poorly thought out and provided very little help. Getting the unit to connect to the WiFi was tedious, had to try well over 10 times before it would connect. If better instructions and a much easier connection time, these unit would be a five star.
