Nice unit and fair for it's price. The only real comment I have to make is for the design. This is a "metal" screen that goes over "fire". Therefore, grabbing the handle on top of the screen is probably not a good idea. Thus, the handle on top should be welded in the upright position so it can be easily accessed by the provided hook tool. The handle keeps falling flat, making it difficult to snag it with the hook tool. Yes, I know the hook tool wasn't make for that purpose, but it's logical to use it.

Item arrived on time and as described. Used curbside pickup and was on my way in less than 10 minutes.

The screen works to prevent sparks from flying out, but it got red hot in the middle, even though it was quite a ways above the actual fire. The first fire we used it for peeled the paint off the middle of it, and now it looks like it’s rusting. Not a cheap item, but sure made cheaply.

Perfect fit for my fire pit. Can't wait to enjoy a fire during the cool winter months. Never liked the ambers flying around.

I bought this fire pit cover online, without an opportunity to see it in-store. I picked this one because I needed a cover that was larger than my fire pit's 27" interior circumference.I was impressed first by the weight. We've had a lot of really windy weather; enough so I was worried that whatever cover I get might actually be too light and blow over. Nope, not this one, no way. It's way too heavy for the wind to move it.I'm also impressed with the lifer screen. It smoothly lifts up and down, even after several fires and a my hope is that it's still as smooth this time next year. There's a nice big heavy duty loop to grab onto with a poker that makes easy opening and closing. Note that there's a little shifting that goes on with every opening and closing of the lifter screen so just keep and eye out so it doesn't fall into the fire pit during a roaring fire.All in all, this screen has really classed up what was already a nice home-made fire pit (made with pavers) and increased appearance and functionality for many seasons to come. Keeping it protected from the elements when not in use with a good fire pit cover should keep this spark screen in working order for years.

It's city ordinance to have a mesh cover where I live in city limits. We've used our fire pit probably 5 times since getting this mesh screen cover and it defiently helps keep the sparks from flying out. The heat has warped the screen some and it has discolored it (rust). Over all good price for both the screen and lifter.

The first time I used it, the coloring came off and the screen started to collapse. I wouldn't recommend it.

Very heavy (metal?) construction. Better than what comes with most fire bowls. My only issue is the measurement. Outer measure is barely 26", my 30" bowl could use a 28". #1 feature though is the operation and this is top notch. Very smooth hinge pins make it easy to open/close. Primary function.

Bought this spark screen for a standard sized 30" fire pit kit I bought from Home Depot. This screen diameter is just a tad below 28" So it falls in side the fire pit wall. I had to attach some inner L brackets ito create a land for it to sit on. A lot of hassle.

very solid spark screen, I bought a smaller, metal fire pit a couple of years ago and the spark screen is very flimsy and barely able to hold its shape. This screen will be a trusted, reliable screen.

The handle broke off during the second use, making it dangerously difficult to open and close. Good news is that Home Depot processed the return without any hassle.

Discolors a bit but no rust.

It’s attractive is convenient to use and makes me feel safe from sparks coming from the fire

I wish they still sold the old version it was only 131.00, what you need to know is these screens last about 1 year then they start to rust even if you spray them with high heat paint but they are great to keep sparks in, even in high winds
