I would recommend this ladder to anyone who is looking for a ladder that be placed in multiple positions for different jobs. I would highly recommend that one pays special attention to the position locks as they seem not to sturdy and I feel that this is a MAJOR WEAK POINT in the design of the ladder, having said that The Gorilla company stands firmly behind their warranty and their products from past experience with the company.

This Gorilla Ladder model GLMPXA-18 is a great multi-purpose ladder. It has multi-positions: extension, twin Stepladder, stairway and 90 degree configurations. Easy adjustable hinge operation and easy to lock rails which allows you to adjust the height of the ladder in 1 foot increments. The duty rating is IA, 300 pounds. It takes up little space to store. Gorilla ladder rail brackets allow the multi-position ladder to be used as two scaffold bases (brackets are extra accessories available for purchase). It weighs under 31 pounds.

This is an awesome ladder. I have had one like it in the past which was great too; but this one is a different brand with some different features. The locking mechanisms that allow you to move the ladder up and down are much better on this ladder. You merely need to rotate knobs on both sides of the ladder to unlock the slats and then you can move it up and down as you wish; then you rotate the knob again to lock it into place. A much better design. The knobs at the top that control the angle of the ladder are also much bigger than my previous ladder making it easier to unlock. The only complaint I might have is it flexes a bit when it is extended fully at its 180 degree angle. Not a big deal. I would recommend this ladder.

I would hesitantly recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a ladder that can be placed into multiple positions depending on ones needs at the time. The weight limit is where most people won't need to worry which is a positive thing the ladder seems lighter than previous models that is a plus but the negative that I see is the new locking handles on the ladder. I am not confident that they are to safe even though I have not tested them as of yet but my previous experience with a like popular named ladder with similar locks was not positive but very negative.

This Gorilla 18 foot ladder is awesome. I have another brand ladder of this type, but it’s too heavy for the smaller person in our home. This ladder is only 34 pounds and moves so easily. The locks on the side stay pushed out until it’s in the next lock position and locks nice and smooth. Makes for an easy change from folded, to A frame, to extension ladder. 20 different positions. There are steps on both sides when in an A frame position and you can adjust each side so you can put it on an incline or steps. It has a 300 pound capacity AND a limited lifetime warranty. Instructions come with it in both English and Spanish. Loving how it’s so light and easy to maneuver and adjust to different positions. This is my new go-to ladder. Made in China.

This is a really, really good ladder! I can't say too many good things about this ladder. The way it stores in a small area. The way It will go from a 4 foot A frame ladder, to a 18 foot straight ladder is second to none. It will allow you to work on stairs. You can even use this as a set of scaffold as well! The ladder will support 300 pounds with ease. It has padded rubber feet so you don't have to worry about the ladder slipping. Adjustment is easy as well. Push buttons or pull leavers! Great price point! Every homeowner needs this ladder!

This is an amazingly versatile ladder !! It can be used as a multiple height step ladder, an 18 ft. maximum height extension ladder and a stairway ladder. It will hold up to 300 pounds. The heavy duty speed locks work smoothly and the ladder extensions are easy to slide up and down. The ladder has padded feet to protect your floors and aid in skid resistance. It folds up to a 4.5 ft. storage size. The ladder is easy to use and adjust but it does have a lot of moving parts and possible pinch points. The ladder has many caution and instruction labels attached to the ladder so work slowly and carefully and you should not have any problems using this amazing ladder.

Once you actually use it for a 14ft reach it’s not safe anymore the steps become smaller and unsafe especially being up that high. I opted out to just getting a more longer ladder.

I just need the ladder to made some job in my home. So, I feel blessed to have her.

I’ve been using‘Little Giant’ ladders for many years. This is an affordable alternative to them, especially if used primarily for home use. Not as tough but still worth the price. A good ladder ? ??

This ladder is absolutely perfect for our 3 story townhouse with vaulted ceilings. I'm actually blown away by how such a "small" looking ladder (when completely collapsed for storage mode) can allow me to reach heights of 18 feet. This ladder has multiple configurations from step ladder to straight ladder. Switching modes and heights is fast and effortless. It can be used on stairs, and makes working on our 12 ft ceilings a breeze. On the outside we can reach almost any part of our house with the ladder fully extended. It's light enough to pick up and reposition with ease yet extremely sturdy and stable in all configurations. It can handle a little bit of uneven ground. The manufacturing quality is very good, and I don't see why this product won't last us several years of heavy use. Very happy with this investment, and highly recommend this brand for multi-story home owners.

I bought the ladder for paint work on the outside of my elevated patio -- didn't know what height would be best, so wanted the adjustable, and needed something lightweight. This ladder has been brilliant -- easy to operate, change heights and configuration, and folds down to a easy-to-carry size. Highly recommend.
