My aging fence keeps breaking posts after each big storm and I’ve been using these to prop up the posts. With a sledgehammer, I drive these into the ground next to the post and then secure it with a c-clamp. I’ve done 5 posts this way now. They are solid enough to drive into the concrete around the original post. These are buying me some time until I replace the fence.

Wow, what a stake! It's straight and made of metal--everything that you'd want in a stake! And if that's not enough, it's even black!

I used this to hold up a bird feeder pole (hollow metal pipe), pounded it about 18" in the ground and the rest went inside the pole. Worked great, very sturdy and a bit bigger diameter (3/4"?) than rebar which I also considered. It was more expensive than rebar but better for what I needed.

Strong and heavy! Used as a stake to hold a large reflector. Not had it longe enough to see how it holds up in rain etc.

Did the job perfectly. Solid metal -follows the laws of equivocal exchange. Will buy again.

It's a solid metal stake. I have some bug torches I purchased a few years ago that had blastic stakes on the bottom. When the stakes broke off, there was no way to replace them. I cut off the bottom few inches of the torch pole, and then drove the stake halfway into the ground. The torch pole fits over the stake and is far more durable and stable than the old plastic stake.
