Use these screw's frequently on deck and fencing projects.

Perfect length for holding two 2 x 4 together. They pulled the two pieces together very tight and secure. The #2 Philips is easy to use and I have drill bits for them. I choose exterior since the screws are holding shelfs that are in a basement know to flood. Because of wood splitting I drilled pilot holes in the top piece. They went is straight and clean. Only one screw head was bad, Not bad for a 5 pound box. I have used Grip-Rite several times for outside decking and stairs and have always been satisfied.

They work well on the job on my fence

No problems whatsoever with this screw for fastening 5/4" decking. Even though it has a no.2 screw tip, they stay the course going into wood without jumping out.

Easy to screw on wood

SCREWS WORKED GOOD AND #2 PHILLIPS HAD IT VERY SECURE WITHOUT STRIPING HEAD. BUT THEN AGAIN I TURNED ALL MY 2X4X20 DECK BOARDS OVER AS THE BOTTOM LOOKED BRAND NEW AFTER 25 YEARS. REMOVED ALL NAIL AND PUT SCREWS IN SAME HOLES. THEN A LIGHT PRESSURE WASH. ONE FRIEND CAME OVER AND ASKED IF IT WAS A BRAND NEW DECK? I SAVED JUST UNDER $1000.00 IN NEW LUMBER BY JUST FLIPPING OVER. THIS WAS A FANTASTIC WAY TO MAKE MY DECK LOOK BRAND NEW USING MY OLD WOOD. IF YOUR LOOKING TO SAVE AND HAVE 2 INCH BOARDS TURN A FEW AND SEE HOW GREAT IT IS. PICTURE TAKEN AT NIGHT WITH FLASH. WILL STAIN DECK TO FINISH IT. NOW IT WILL LAST ANOTHER 20+ YEARS.

Building decks is tough. The work is more presentable when using screws to attach the wood products but that is often hard because of bits and tough wood timber. These went in easily and the bits lasted a long time. I think they do much better than others I have purchased in the past. I recommend them.

These screws worked perfectly for my project. 1 screw was mis shaped out if like 300. Very happy with this product.

It's a screw and it does what a screw is suppose to do, hold two pieces of wood together. I have used tons of these to build decks and miscellaneous outdoor structures. They hold tight and stand up to the elements. When using this screw it is best practice to drill a pilot hole to prevent the wood from splitting.

These screws worked great. I used them to put together a new raised bed with treated lumber and galvanized roofing. Being exterior rated deck screws they should last a long time. They drove well and had a good deep Phillips head for minimal slip when driving them with a impact driver. I used these screws in pocket holes to create very snug joints. Great component for completing the raised bed project. See Pic.

PERFECT for 2x4 construction. penetrates DEEP into the second board with even a slight indentation at the head without poking out the other side.

It had half nails and half screws

Good screws but the Philipps head isn't the best
