It's hard to rate a screw! It came exactly as advertised, came quickly, was left at the door as requested in the order, and as far as I can tell works as well, easily and safely as it should.

The heads stripped out to often

Butcher block counter top no problem at all. They preform great fastening to kitchen island cabinets

They're screws. They screw in -- barely. There is something wrong with the philips head though. It's extremely difficult to drive them without slipping -- and that's with pre-drilling. Wouldn't be able to drive them at all without pre-drilling. I won't be buying anymore of them.

Outrageously priced !!! Gouging !!!

The finish seems to be slick enough to screw into many types of wood without needing lubricant. Sometimes, I don't need a pilot hole.

Very good for my extension and it works perfectly.
