Great screw but philipscew head tends to slip and skip in hardwood should have gotten torxhead

Screws were useful for my project

I mean, they're screws. And they worked, so...

These screws bind every time screwing 2x4s into plywood. I've broken 2 Phillips bits. #2 Phillips are constantly camming out of the head and there's clearly too much work for my drill to sink these into wood. I'm using a very powerful m12 surge with fully charged batteries. It can barely turn the screw into the wood because of how poor the design is. Heating up my drill amd draining my batteries in 20 minutes of use. Usually a 4.0 AH pack lasts me all day. These are very aggrevating to use.
