I need 3 sizes of good screws to build my hobby projects. This is best for 2X4s.

we have used the Grip-Rite bugle head coarse thread gold screws in all different lengths for years, great holding strength and versatile in many applications.

Bought for a project and wasn't disappointed. They hold!

Very good and strong wood screw. Built the attached end table using this screw.

Fourth time buying. Have had problems with other brands throwing in some defective ones in that are bent or head not cleanly pressed for #2 Phillips. Every single one was clean! It's great that I don't always need a magnetic tip to use.

The screws did the trick. Nothing fancy, but worked for our purpose of attaching new pickets to our fence the blew down during a storm.

These screws are less than adequate for most applications with the exception of attaching two pieces of drywall or Styrofoam together. I used them to secure 3/8 inch plywood to project and about 40 to 50% of the screw heads snapped off. These are poor quality screws.

Great purchase. Drives really well. I've used it many of times with no issues. Holds up really well to exterior weather.

I THREW THEM AWAY. The heads strip, even when I pre-drill, every time! And I'm using soft pine 2x4's. I tried every Phillips head I had on these, bought new Phillips heads, and even tried #2, #3, and Pozidriv bits thinking the package was mis-labeled. These screws are useless!

Got the job done with these screws.

They worked well. I would prefer the Robertson (square) drive.
