Worked great for holding post for fence. Used brackets anchored into concrete then attached 4x4 post to brackets.

Perfect size for my job

Used these construction screws to fasten new cedar fencing sections to 4x4 posts. Seems to be a very solid connection. Nice having the star drill bit included in the box.

I bought two boxes of these for a home project. extremely hard to get them started in the wood, no matter how much weight you put behind it. I ended , must be made of that imported steel. :-( ended up throwing 1.8 boxes away and going somewhere else for screws that worked!

I purchased a couple one pound boxes of these to build a kayak rack, attached to the back side of our utility shed. As far workability, they were great, I REALLY like Torx or square head drive screws so much better than Phillips or modified Phillips style; they grip the bit and do not strip out. Anyway, the project went fine, but upon reading the box closer (a week later when I was spec'ing out costs on another project in mind) I see that they ARE NOT supposed to be used on treated lumber and not so great so exterior use. The box does state that they are not intended for treated lumber, but it's on the rear panel and not very obvious. I bought this particular style because they were a bit more economical than the epoxy coated style (which I've used as well) and a few more to the pound, but I should have purchased a product specifically labelled for treated lumber. SO I don't think they'll rust away really fast or anything, but hopefully I'll remember and within the first year, go through the rack and replace each with a proper decking screw. My fault for not reading closer, manufacturer fault for not designing their label better to communicate the intended usages. Otherwise I would give them a 5 star instead of 4.

I replaced my tiny screws on my exterior doors with these screws. Added protection against those who wish to enter your home without a key. Strengthens your hinges, striker plates and dead bolts on your exterior doors and the room in your house that you use as your safe room. I would recommend using them.

No bends, no breaks, no stripped heads. I like the torx bit that they included as well. Great product.

I used these screws to build some storage shelves in my garage. All in all, I used approximately 225 of these screws for that project and have actually started another project that I am using these screws for as well. They worked very well, and I will use them again when the need arises.

Great product. Used five pounds to build a fence. These screws were very easy to start and their quality was great! Throughout the entire project, I found absolutely no defective or damaged screws!

Used to attach 3/4 Melamine. Counter sink with #8 bit. Screws held the material very well. Very coarse thread was needed and these fit the bill.

Did what it was supposed to do. We used them on a bsa eagle project to secure the plexiglass frames at the Four Mile Cove in Cape Coral, Florida. Home Depot was so wonderful in donating to the project. Thanks!!!

Used them to build this little produce stand out of reclaimed wood and scrap 2x4s. Didn't need to pre-drill pilot holes. I highly recommend using a 20V drill or Impact driver for it.
