I have had an excellent experience at the Route 46E Fairfield store while shopping for the deck material. At your pro-shop, Rob was a great help in showing and explaining the synthetic and pressure treated slats. He made a quick design for the deck layout. We used his design and the deck came out beautiful. Our sincere thanks to Rob at the pro-desk.

These screws were absolutely worthless and I returned them. The star bit rounded out the screw on nearly every one I tried. I changed drills. I used a driver. Nothing worked. I even had a friend come and try who has done a lot of deck work. They are worthless!!!

They are a good sturdy screw has a cutting tip to penetrate easily.

While these may be ok for trex or similar decking it is not designed for nor properly function when applying pressure treated wood decking. Because of the change in the threading for the upper 1/3rd of the screw, which for trex is intentional, it simply does not function well with wood.

Some screws didn't start real well, using Veranda deck material. Worked well after they started. I predrilled a starter hole, worked much better for me that way.

They worked great especially with plastic / composite deck boards I put down. It should have a longer torx driver for drill. Or at least a couple of them in the box.
