Perfect for freehand edging. Excellent bristle density, quality stress resistant bristles, withstands frequent cleaning without fraying or damage. After many hours painting, it still delivers clean straight lines with excellent control.

Like to use a tapered brush for furniture painting.

Did a nice job but notice the bristles of the paint brush were coming out while painting. It did ok on the cutting.

These brushes are excellent! I have painted an entire home and they are still going strong, wash after wash! They provide smooth, even coverage with very little brush lines (using Sherwin Williams paints, of course).

Soft bristles. Clear section on packaging allows you to see the bristles plus packaging can be removed and re-installed to see the whole brush (Velcro). Used it on some trim work. My wife does most the painting and prefers a 1" brush for trim vs this 2" model. Picture below shows a brush after use and cleaning vs a new brush. Cleans well with hot water and soap, but some separation of bristles after cleaning. Can store on a pegboard using hole in handle. Handle fits nicely in your hand

I'm SOLD on TRYLON FILAMENT BRUSHES. I have several of these Brushes and this 2 inch TRYLON Thin Angle Sash Brush is just as Great. It holds paint well for cutting in and puts the paint down Very Smooth. You can use all types of Paint and get the same result. Very easy to clean but, you should clean it as soon as your done. I hang them up by the handle to dry after cleaning for the best results. Great Brushes.

Excellent brush for trim and finish wood. Long handle provides good reach, thin brush with angled end is convenient for small areas and straight edges. The brush keeps its shape well even after 3 days of use. It paints without streaks, good coverage of smooth or rough surfaces. This is a handy go-to for spaces and surfaces where a large brush makes a mess.

This is an excellent brush for applying oil based wood stain. The bristles are smooth and flexible allowing the stain to go on smoothly without any brush or overlap lines. The sash edge makes applying an accurate border much easier. My wife decided to refinish our dining table in time for Thanksgiving with a darker stain and a whitewash accent. As part of the project, she sanded down the oak veneer tabletop and applied a coat of Minwax Special Walnut oil based wood stain to create a darker wood color to offset the whitewash accents. We tried this brush and found it to be ideally suited to getting a very consistent and easy finish with the oil based wax stain. In previous projects, we have had to use a rag to smooth the wet stain after it was applied however with this brush, we were able to apply the stain and work it around the wood without the usual brush marks, which significantly sped up the process of staining the table. There was also no bristle loss which avoided the need to scrape out loose bristles from the fresh stain. The table top also has a beveled edge which my wife had painted with a cream colored whitewash and the angled edge of this sash brush made it much easier to run the stain right up to the edge of the whitewash to create a clean, crisp edge. We cleaned the brush in mineral spirits and the bristles have maintained their flexibility so it can be re-used for the next part of the project which involves staining the table base and the chairs.

Best 1.5 inch TRYLON THIN ANGLE SASH BRUSH is THE BEST Brush for Trim work. It Hold's a lot of paint for a Thin Angle Brush. Paint goes on Very Smooth with very few if any brush marks. The Trylon material is very impressive. I like the long Wooden Handle. Wash up was a snap, very easy with soap and water with little effort. Make sure to hang brush up to dry and it will last a long time. Great Brush.

This is a great brush for detail work or cutting in. The angled 1 ½ inch brush has Trylon filaments that holds paint well, stay firm, and clean up nicely. The brush is suitable for use on all paint types. Using it with latex paint, it draws paint very well, and hold it firmly. I use this brush for cutting in trim, ceilings, and other detail areas and it works great. You can hold a fine straight line with no brush marks – good for one coat coverage paints. Handle has a nice feel and the brush has good balance. It cleans well and maintains its shape and tips quality after several uses. The bristles are light orange color with white tips, which aids in helping you determine when they are clean, as you can see any remaining paint with the orange color contrast. I have several these brushes and I recommend them.

Easy to control where the paint goes! Plus the paint goes on nicely. I used the brush to touch up areas that were first painted 2.5 years ago. It all blends so well -- no brush strokes show. The brush bristles are fine and placed tightly together resulting in very fine painting results. I used a water based paint that washed out very easily. The brush still looked brand new after cleaning. It's nice that the paper packaging is designed to store the brush too.

The 1.5 in. Trylon Thin Angle Sash Brush is by far the highest quality paint brush Ive used in and on any room/home project ever! I even took pictures of the actual brush absorbing just enough paint for even strokes every single time - no bulk or drip problem! Plus - read the package/cover - it is velcro-friendly so you can re-use the packaging between every use - brilliant!!!

This Trylon 1 inch angle sash brush (Model #HD 361 – Made in China) is a good choice for detail and trim work. I've used it with latex paint and acrylic polyurethanes with good results. The “Trylon” bristles are thin and well-packed so they hold a good amount of liquid and release it fairly smoothly. The bristles are a little stiff and the edge is cut a little unevenly so I was not able to get the sharp, consistent lines I get from higher-quality brushes but it's adequate for most uses (see photo). The handle is unfinished wood (or wood-like material) that is smooth when new but gets rougher after the first time it gets wet. It's noticeable but not too objectionable; however a very light rubdown with fine sandpaper fixes that. The brush is slightly cheaper than similar, but higher quality brushes, so unless your painting/finishing needs are extremely demanding this seems like a good alternative.

For the painter who does a lot of fine detail trim painting the 1' Trylon Thin Angle Sash Brush is a great addition to the toolbox. The brush tip filaments at laid neat and true, with a good paint "pocket", always a help when working high trim such as ceiling and crown mouldings. The tips are precisely cut to angle and well feathered for smooth application. I personally like the long handle. It provides a good balanced feel and a good reach, helpful on a ladder. The metal ferrule is very firmly attached to the handle and has a good finish that should hold up well to repeated cleanings without a corrosion problem. The 1' size is great for small-profile or highly detailed mouldings, and is great for picture frames. Also a good size to teach someone the art of cutting-in and trim painting.

Excellent angle brush that holds paint well and draws a very clean line. Great detail brush with soft, flexible bristles for ease of flow of paints such as latex. Perfect for color cut ins without the need of taping off first. Easy standard cleanup. Comfortable wooden handle is nice to hold, not too thick nor too long. Ideal for smaller hands. An all around good detail paint brush.

Great value for this brush. I would recommend it. The bristles are tapered and feathered and you can really perform a nice cut with this 1" brush. The handle is long and thin and is easy to hold with your fingers for precise cut work. I like this product and will be sure to add the larger sizes to my painting aresenal. You can't go wrong with this brush!

This BEST trylon brush is made with 100% solid round tapered filament that mean it will help hold the paint and release more paint verse the cheaper brands. The brush is 1 in wide and has angle sash to get to those corners. It a great detail paint brush. I been using the Brest brushes for years and the last a long time. The key is to clean the as soon as finish and let the paint dry onto the brush. When you do that it will last for years.

This paint brush did the job I needed to without breaking the bank.
