This is a budget cleaning item with one purpose: to sweep stuff up! The brush is very good and dense enough to collect debris. The bristles are soft and I do not hesitate to use this on delicate hardwood. The brush is also sturdy in the hand, and more substantial than others I have used at the same price point. However, I am not a fan of the dustpan as it is sold, as there is a very sharply angled lip that makes it difficult to smoothly sweep debris into the pan. In other budget dustpans, the angle is more gradual, so the debris can ramp into the dustpan. It's a subtle difference but it sometimes makes it difficult to collect the small pieces of debris that I am trying to sweep. Fortunately, you can pull the stripping off, and that has made collection a little easier. See the attached picture for details. Overall, this is worth buying for an affordable broom & dustpan.

There are lots of soft, flexible bristles on this brush. The bristles are so thick that even fine grains of sand will be easily collected. The bristles will not scratch your floor. The brush handle snaps easily and securely into the handle of the dust pan. I'm not sure how the dustpan could be made better. Perhaps a modified rubber lip. It took an effort to collect all those fine grains that the brush was able to collect. The grains didn't want to jump the lip into the dust pan. I could always use a damp towel to pick up the last grains. Even though the dustpan is not perfect, I think the brush in this set it well worth it.

10 in. Dustpan with Rubber Lip and Brush We like this dust pan and brush because it fits and hangs nicely in our pantry closet. The brush handle fits neatly into the pan’s handle for uncluttered storage flat against the wall on a single nail. The rubber lip is a big improvement over our old, stiff-lipped pan because it conforms to the irregularities of our ceramic tile floor for more efficient sweeping, especially fine dirt and dust. Another nice (and unexpected) feature is the “hair comb” molded into one inside corner which helps removes dog hair and dust bunnies from the brush. (See photo). All in all, this was a smart purchase as our old unit was way past its prime and for this minimal investment, and makes cleaning up chores much easier and quicker.

This dustpan is translucent and the handle is opaque. As you can see by the photo, the broom fits snugly into the handle of the dustpan. The bristles are soft and flexible and at the ends are split so they are efficient in sweeping up even very fine debris. The lip is thin and fairly soft so it creates a nice seal against the floor so you won't be leaving behind a lot of dirt.

Perfect for fast clean up in those tight spaces! This 10 inch dustpan and brush set is great when I don’t want to go to the trouble of dragging out the shop vacuum and hose and then plugging it in. A few quick sweeps, and I am done! The rubber lip on the dustpan (see picture) makes for a nice seal with the floor so you get the smallest pieces. The brush just snaps into the handle of the dustpan (see picture) when it is not in use so it won’t get lost. The bristle ends on the brush are specially formed (“flagged”) to trap dust (see picture – nice feature!). This set can easily be hung on a nail or hook because the handle has a good-size hole just for that purpose (see picture). There is a hole in the brush handle as well that aligns perfectly with the hole in the dustpan handle (see picture). The design of this dustpan and brush set really makes both using and storing the set very easy. I highly recommend it!

This is a great dustpan and brush at a remarkable price! It is heavier duty than most and the brush also seems a bit larger than most. I love the serrated edge for cleaning the brush, which makes it easy to keep it free of debris. The handles fit snuggley together so the 2 pieces will always be together. I REALLY love the sealing rubber lip. I have been looking for something like this for a long time. It is very very durable and I expect it will last a very long time. A fantastic value! Highly recommend.

The rubber flange on the dustpan came off on the first use. Very cheaply made
