No issues with this filter. It fits perfectly. Just remember to let the water run through it until it is clear. The water taste clean with no weird after taste.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I have used HDX water filter as an alternative to the Samsung OEM filter. I already have been using this product for a few years already. It is a cost savings from the original Samsung one. I like that it comes in a 2 pack rather than a single one. I have not noticed a difference between the HDX or the Samsung one, setting up is easy, simply remove the old one, install the new one, purge the air in the system, fill at least 10 glasses of water to clear the gunk and then reset the fridge and your ready to drink the water. Great product.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Good filter; easy to install; fits well as a compatible model (sometimes the "compatible" versions are a little tight or a little loose). After installation, ran the water through it for 2-3 glasses (as I always do with any new filter, to ensure 1. that the water is properly flowing through, 2. to check for any leakage, 3. to flush the filter); no issues. The water tasted fine, no obvious abnormalities in the taste or appearance of the water. Please note that this model is a HAF-QIN, and not a HAF-CIN, as such if your Samsung fridge requires a HAF-CIN, this one will not be compatible (they are not interchangeable).

The filter is a replacement for the filter that was over six months old. The filter was very easy to install. The biggest point that you have to remind yourself is that you have to shut off the water supply coming to the fridge. if you don’t do that first, you’re gonna have one heck of a mess. it’s just a simple matter of shutting off the water, unscrew the old filter, and I would recommend putting a towel around it because there’s gonna be some water still in the filter itself. after you throw that away, push in the new filter and turn, and you are done very easy. my water is back to tasting excellent again.

Simply remember to read the instructions wrt priming the filter. This filter is used in quite a few modern Samsung refrigerators and the fit is just like OEM. The new seal is a nice tight fit, so the twist install will be reassuringly firm to prevent leaks.

Back pressure made it a little hard to install, but that was described in both the manual for this and in the fridge's manual as well. This is a good quality replacement for the original filter. I have no issues with dripping or leaking once the filter is installed. I’m very happy with it.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This water filter comes in a 2 pack. Installation is simple. To remove the old one, turn counter clockwise about 1/4 turn. It will slide out slightly, then pull it out. A tiny bit of water will drip out, but not much. New one, slide it in, then turn clockwise until fully seated. Then pour yourself a nice crisp fresh tasting glass of water. I am impressed with how good the water tastes.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The quality of the water output seems to be on the same level as the original Samsung, however the challenge isn’t the quality, it’s the fit. Maybe it was just mine, but the it seem to be a bit more of a challenge to fit it in my fridge.

However, my inspection on receiving it showed it seemed to be well manufactured and likely fit for purpose. Exchanging it for the original was straight forward and after running water through it for a minute, the filtration seems good. I would recommend soaking the filter in clean water before fitting. So far, no flood.

However, once in, does what it is supported to do. This premium HDX replacement refrigerator water filter fits in place of the Samsung Filter my fridge came with. My water tastes fresh, crisp, clean and ice cubes are the same.. life capacity states 300 Gal. or 6-months, whichever precedes. Using this filter will replace 1500 water bottles reducing the amount of plastic waste in our landfills which is a great benefit.

Although I typically like to use OEM parts in my appliances, often it is more cost effective to use a third party item which will pretty much do the same job. This filter from HDX is essentially going to work just like the original part. It may not fit in exactly as snug for you as the original part, but once you install it, you shouldn't have any issues and it will operate as you expect.

Goes in at a bad angle; doesn’t even really go in at the angle in the instructions. Doesn’t seal, even when fully seated (which is a PAIN to do). Filled my deli tray with 3 towels worth of water and dumped two towels worth all over the floor and into freezer. 0 stars, returning. Nightmare product.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I replaced an expired WD-DA97-17376b filter in my Samsung fridge. The HDX filter was easy to install and fit great. After running the first few liters through it, the water ran consistently and tasted much better than the unfiltered tap water. Its good to know that this filter has been certified to multiple standards for water filtration.

This filter claims to be for my Samsung refrigerator but it does not seal completely and cause the big mess so save yourself the trouble and buy the original Samsung filter for your fridge.

The HDX FMS-4 Premium Refrigerator Water Filter was packed very well so that it wasn't crushed or damaged. It was a relief that it didn't take a chainsaw to get it out of its packaging. Just a nice simple plain white box with the filter, bilingual instructions, and stickers so you know when to replace the filter (recommendation is every 6 months). Accessing the water supply line is not easy for me so I just had to call up my muscles and have paper towels nearby. Once the old filter was removed by turning the filter's shallow S handle (wish it was easier to grab) counterclockwise, I took off the top plastic cap, inserted the new filter, and summoned my muscles one more time to push and twist the new filter clockwise into place. There was only minimal spray so I didn't have much to clean up this time. I put the new sticker on the inside with the months circled so I know when to replace this filter with a new one. Onto running water through the filter and using it to water my plants and then I was all set to enjoy drinking fresh clean water at a really affordable price thanks to the HDX FMS-4 Premium Refrigerator Water Filter. The price, HD reviews, and similarities to others work for me. And no, I don't remove the wrapping off the filter before inserting into the refrigerator.

This is a review of the HDX FMS-4 Premium Refrigerator Water Filter Replacement which fits the Samsung HAF-QIN/EXP. The filter comes well packaged and sealed in plastic with a cap to prevent any contaminants from getting into the filter during shipment. With close examination, the filter is identical to the original Samsung filter model code HAF – Q IN/EXP with one exception. The base of the filter is shaped a little differently than the original filter, but it is sufficient to turn the filter so that you can insert it back into the refrigerator and lock it in. It was slightly difficult to unlock the original filter and push the new filter in, but with just a little pressure, you can accomplish both. The filter seems to be well made and fits perfectly into the slot. When running water through the new filter, I did not get a heavy charcoal smell or taste as some replacement filters do. The filter appears to be a suitable replacement for this model refrigerator. After replacing the filter, make sure you either hit the reset button, or if you have a refrigerator with a screen you go to settings and reset the date for the filter.

The HDX FMS-4 premium water filter is a exact replacement for my Samsung refridgerator. My refridgerator has a built in tablet that is Alexia controlled so when my refridgerator started telling me it was time to change and wanted to order it for me i saw how much it was. I Found the HDX a perfect match to the original and built with the same quality for much less. Came with everything you need to replace was sealed in plastic and came with a reminder sticker to put in your refridgerator to replace again in six months. It was very easy to install less than two minutes didnt even have to turn off the water.

This water filter is very easy to install. First off, you must turn off the water so that there is no water pressure on the filter. Next you grasp the old filter and turn to remove it. Pull out once to remove and install the new filter by pushing it back into place where the old filter was just removed from. Turn to lock it in and turn the water back on. Run a few glasses of water through the new filter and you are done. Water tastes great.

It worked fine enough, but now it is stuck in the fridge and I'm very worried that it broke something in the fridge after reading all the other reviews. I am honestly so frustrated right now that I'm about to cry. I have the two pack and will NOT be using the second one, that's for sure.

Good price. A little more difficult to install but fit. Then one after I was filling my glass with water and it suddenly stopped. I opened the door to see water pouring from the back of the filter. The plastic seal had ruptured. Not saying it will happen every time. But if your water suddenly stops, be quick to open the fridge and pull the filter.

Installed this then 20 minutes later water is pouring out of the fridge. The center top of the gasget is about a milliliter shorter than the Samsung brand filter. Does not seal properly.

These filters work well. The twist in perfectly in my Samsung side by side refrigerator. When they are first installed, you should run a few gallons through the filter to get out any air. The filter is made to last for about 6 months or 300 gallons of water. These filters are made with biodegradable materials such as 0.5 mic coconut shell carbon block. They filter out and reduce select chemicals, herbicides, insecticides, sand, silt, sediment, rust, chlorine and other contaminants that may be present in your drinking water.

These filters are to replace the one in my Samsung refrigerator. It fit fine in the filter compartment but a little less snug that the original. There were no leaks. It's obviously a bit cheaper in feel from the Samsung original filter but at half the price, it's not a big deal .The only thing I wish is that there was some sort of window to see the actual filter. The water for my fridge goes through a reverse osmosis system so I really never know whether the filter needs to be changed. At $26 a pop, I'd like to know.

We Got these replacement filters for our refrigerator from Home Depot and they work great. Seemed to be a much better price than buying from the manufacturer. Just make sure you get the correct size for your refrigerator. I messed up and ordered the wrong one at first. But these are identical to the ones that came in my fridge and so far have lasted just as long
