Hi, We are sorry you are not satisfied with this vacuum!
You should be able to bend the body of the vacuum by grasping at each side, to check for flexibility. The bend helps the unit move smoothly over curves and sides of gunite pool walls. The suction opening is smaller than my previous vacuum. This causes it to clog easily and also, I have to adjust the pressure to keep the hose from closing up and kinking which it tends to do often. It takes me twice as long to clean my unscreened pool which is next to a large Grand Oak.

Hi, Sorry to hear you are not entirely satisfied with the new Vacuum.
This vacuum fits a standard 1-1/2" or 1-1/4" vacuum hose.
We are wondering about the vacuum hose issues and if that is affecting the usage of the new vacuum head? If you are using a standard spiral vacuum hose, made for manual vacuuming and there are no issues (holes) in the hose, it shouldn't collapse. To discuss further, you are welcome to call our Poolmaster Customer Service Dept directly, Monday-Friday, 8:00-4:00 Pacific Time at 800-854-1492.

We do suggest you rinse off all pool tools with fresh water from the garden hose between use and for storage after season. If the pool water is out of balance, rinsing will help stop any corrosion.
Considering that the vacuum is less than one year old, you may contact us directly for warranty handling.
Please e-mail us a copy of the purchase receipt, pictures of the damaged vacuum and your name & shipping address so we can help. E-mail us at info@poolmaster.com
