First flight the wheel tipped off the luggage

I had a chance to use this luggage on a recent summer vacation roundtrip flight. The suitcases are well designed with 2 compartments inside, with a large pocket on the flap that separate the 2 sides. Everything fit in neatly and the click type straps secured my clothing well. The combo locks work well and are programmable to whatever code I choose, and the zippers handled the duty as expected. The handle and 8 wheels on each piece worked as expected as I rolled the cases all over the place. After 2 flights and being transported in 2 vehicles, they held up very well with little cosmetic damage after the whole trip. If there was a downside, I guess it would be that they are not expandable. However, having no expansion fabric in between the clamshell makes the cases nice and stable and solid. Overall, I'm very happy with the luggage set, and the cool exterior design made them easy to spot on the carousel. I would definitely recommend these.

This luggage set arrived the day before I took a trip to Hawaii, so this got a quick real world test. I can say with confidence this is a nice luggage set and placed at a competitive price point. My observations: • Lightweight and strong. I was shocked when I lifted the shipping box to start unpacking this set. I was shocked because of overall light weight of the 3-piece set. Very nice! • The shell is hard with a slight flex. I had full confidence during my trip that none of the pieces would crack even with severe use. After the trip I inspect all pieces and they were in great shape. I had some expected scratches and marring in places but that is to be expected when traveling, especially far distances. • The telescoping handle stays in place once you set it. I hate handles that slip down or up. This stays in place. The handle has a good grip with indentations on the bottom of the telescoping handle for better grip. • The stationary handles on the luggage have soft, rubber, grippy feel to ensure you get a good grip when lifting and placing the luggage into bins. • The wheels are smooth. I almost always roll my upright luggage on all four wheels vs pulling on two wheels. These wheels handled all surfaces (concrete, carpet, tile, etc.) well. No issues at all. • Built-in TSA lock. • These have all the packing components (zippers and locks) you are looking for: Clothing, personal items, locking strap for shirts, pants, etc. Everything has a place and for the most part stays in that place. This is a great luggage set. Again, we traveled a long distance with 6 different flights to get back and forth and this set held up perfectly. I confidently and firmly recommend this luggage set.

Not something I thought I would get from Home Depot. The luggage set is great and perfect for our family of 4. It came in one box, so you know that one fits into the other, so storing them is easy and doesn't take much room. The wheels on each luggage makes it feel sturdy and rolls like its floating on air, very smooth. And with traveling being that much more of being a hassle, I'm sure TSA appreciates that the luggage compliant.

I started traveling more frequently this year and needed to upgrade my suitcases and found the Marathon Lakeside luggage set. What I really liked about this 3-piece hard-sided set is how the other suitcases nest inside so storing them when not in use is a space saver. The luggage sizes range from 20" to 24" to 28". The 360 degree spinning wheels are perfect for me as I am known to rush in the airport and I don't have to worry about this luggage stopping on me in a crowd! Lastly, I appreciate this set has a TSA approved lock so I feel more secure with my belongings and also know if TSA needs to inspect my bags, they can do so and I still can keep my items safe for travel. Worthy investment and while it comes in a variety of colors, I chose Slate Blue.

We haven't bought a set of luggage in years. We love this set it has everything we need. This is perfect for our travel needs we just used it for our trip this weekend and it work out perfect for us. We love the wheels on the bottom we could tilt them back and roll them instead of carrying them and they are not that heavy either when they are loaded with your clothes either. All three pieces has a 3 number combination lock to secure your contents. Handles on top and sides are very convenient. The wheels roll super smooth. There is a flap inside to put your loose items in with a zipper. The outside material is scratch resistant and flexible but strong plastic. We love this set and we think you will to. I don't think you go wrong in getting this set.

A triple set of hard sided suitcases are just the thing for my future short range and long range travel. They seem quite sturdy and the three of them together weigh over 22 pounds. Each one has a set of 4 wheels, which making handling a heavy load much easier! They have inner zippered compartments to keep your keepsakes and goodies in. I like them!

I received very nice and strong hard shell suitcases that were 3 pieces easily nested together in one larger suitcase. The color was bright silver. I had them a few days ago. Easy to pull them on their wheels. Easy to pull up and push down the handles. They had 2 stretched belts to close and open easy. The back inside had private covered zippered compartment. Cool that they had codes to lock and unlock suitcases.

What a great 3-piece luggage set! Perfect for our travel needs. Outside material is a flexible, yet strong plastic and is scratch resistant. The matte silver color with black handles looks super modern and slick. All three pieces have 3-number combination lock to secure your contents. Handles on both the top and sides are convenient, and there are separate extension/pull-out handles on each which provide comfort and ease while rolling them. The wheels roll super smoothly. Each piece is also SUPER lightweight. The largest piece which is 30"L [including wheels] x 19-1/2"W x 11-1/2"D weighs only 9 lbs when empty! Amazing! The insides all include an elastic clip-together strap as well as a flap with a zippered pouch for securing your items. Instructions for changing the default combination for the locks are included and are easy to follow. Outside zippers seem like good quality and unzip/zip smoothly. Very happy with this luggage set and we'll be giving it a full test for our planned vacation coming up in a few weeks. So great that Home Depot sells products like this. Very convenient! Medium-size piece is 26"L [including wheels] x 16" W [including handle] x 10-1/2" D. Small piece is 21-1/2"L [including wheels] x 14"W x 9"D, Extension handles extend up to 40" high.

Very pleased with this set of 3 hardside suitcases. They are made of lightweight Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) thermoplastic material. Very nice to be able to “nest” within each other for storage when not in use. Description does not include the dimension. I measured all three items, as follows Height x Width x Depth: X-Large = 29-1/2" x 18-1/2" x 12"; Large = 25-1/2" x 16-1/2" x 10"; Small = 22-1/2" x 14-1/4" x 9". All three have the TSA approved lock, which is nice. Default code is in the Home Depot product listing, but no instructions are provided on how to change the code. 3 year warranty per the tag. Unable to comment on durability, but first-impressions are a 5-star!

Haven’t bought a set of luggage in decades and I’m so glad that I got this particular set. First of all I do love the look. It’s not as shiny as it appears rather matte and has a texture to it which is so much nicer. They go in each other for space saving storage. All three have 360 degree wheels, adjustable telescoping handles, multiple zippered compartments and combination lock that is TSA approved. They are surprisingly lightweight which is great and should hold up very well deflecting impact and dings. Time will tell once these are put to the test of travel. I like the convenience of the carry-on with the handle and wheels. All the zippers inside and out moved smoothly and effortlessly. Very happy with this set and pretty affordable. If you haven’t invested in a new set I highly recommend checking these out-you will definitely buy them.

These suitcases are absolutely beautiful. The picture makes them look shiny but they are a lovely soft matte color. They nest inside each other which will make for simple and compact storage. They are a bit smaller than I anticipated but they are wide so they will be able to hold plenty of items. The wheels turn on a dime which will make pushing them around an airport very easy. The combination lock will also make them very secure - no keys to lose. I would highly recommend them.

This is a nice-looking set of Luggage. There are three pieces: 20", 24", and 28". All have 360 degree turning wheels and those work really well. All of the handles have the ability to be adjusted to several different heights. The suitcases all have the same layout inside. The upper half of the suitcase has a zippered cloth area which when zipped close, acts as a separate storage area. That cloth area also has an outside zipper pocket. The outer suitcase feels sturdy and is impact resistant. These suitcases are pretty lightweight. There is a combination lock on the suitcase for added security. They all nest inside one another. These seem very reliable, which is more than we can say about traveling in general.

This is very well worth the cost. Its a good looking set of luggage. I haven't used it yet so time will tell on durability, however it looks well built. The combination locks are cool if you lock your luggage. Out of the 3 pieces I like the middle size the best if I'm checking it on. The smaller will definitely fit in overheads. Looks like it will be a very functional set.

Now that traveling is possible again, we decided we needed new luggage to replace our airline damaged existing set. This Marathon Lakeside Nested Hardside Luggage Set in Slate Blue (TSA Compliant) from Hikolayae will work perfectly for us. The design and look of the bags is clean and modern. The slate blue color is very attractive but shouldn't show dirt readily. The PE material that makes up each bag appears sturdy, yet is very lightweight. Wheels and handles operate smoothly, and inside each bag has the usual retaining straps and zipper compartments found on most luggage. The nesting feature is very nice, making storage much easier for anyone with limited closet space. I can't wait to take to the skies again in style with this fine new luggage. Highly recommended!

Marathon Lakeside Nested Hardside Luggage Set in Slate Blue, 3 Piece - TSA Compliant The luggage is simply awesome. Love the design, the light-weight materials, and all the features. The 360 degree four wheel base is the easiest to roll luggage I've ever owned! It has molded corner guard reinforcements, an area with its own zippered organizational pockets. The approved TSA Secure combination lock for security is very simple to use. All the expansion handles have two settings for different lengths, but they also extend to the same height, so you have the same reach on the tall bag as you do on the carry-on bag! Awesome design and beautiful color! Really like that the two smaller suitcases easily fit inside the larger suitcase for storage!

The 3 - piece Hikolayae Marathon Lakeside Nested hard side luggage set is perfect, just what we were looking for. Our old luggage set is very heavy before we put anything into them, this set hardly weighs anything, less than 25 pounds for all three pieces together. The two smallest ones fit inside the large one, which cuts back on storage space needed to store them when not used. All three have pull up handles and two rubberized grab handles, one on top and one on the side to carry them if you want too. All of the caster wheels are swivel, they rotate 360 degrees and maneuver very nicely. They have a heavy duty zipper with pull ends that snap into the combination lock assembly to lock them up, or you can install a small padlock on them if you prefer. The lock assembly is a 3-digit combination lock that you can program with your own numbers or leave them with the factory set numbers. There is plenty of room inside each one with extra storage space on the inside lid of each one. The bottom inside has a zip in liner so your clothes are protected against the hard plastic shell. This luggage set is very nice, I would highly recommend it!

We got this luggage set for our trip to London and we really like how durable it was. It was very sturdy and held up well with all of the airline transfers and rough going on the airport luggage belts. The wheels are great. All four wheels rotate all the way around, which came in handy. A nice strong handle and very light weight. We enjoy the set and think it is a great buy!

The zipper on one case broke off with moderate use on its first trip. The zipper on another survived a few trips before it broke off as well. Even before it broke I didn't love these--felt flimsy and have no separate pockets. Thought these might be a nice set to last my teen into the college years but turned out not to be a good buy.

I loved how the 3 piece can fit in each other. I love the compartment inside. It exceeded my expectations.
